I’ve been using a completely different version of bounce from any shown in the video and I just hit infinite with its so glad to see some many variations of the same deck archetype are strong and viable again.
When has bounce not been viable? It’s been one of the most consistently busted archetypes forever, just most people don’t want to play it because it makes games take forever
@@astrothelad Bounce has its times when it stands out. But when it doesn’t it often falls behind a lot compared to typical “standard destroy” and “traditional discard” decks which are able to hold up against shifting metas. Bounce is a lot more touch and go I’ve found
Don't spend tokens on wiccan. If you want him you'd rather wait six months. He isn't a huge necessity for this deck, or rather any deck. If he hits, good, if he doesn't then it doesn't matter. That's the sort of decks that play him. Because at the end of the day his ability isn't consistent, unless you are running zoo or bounce with a whole bunch of small cards, which you don't have a chance of missing. Even then the extra energy isn't always necessary and you just end up floating quite a bit for 2-3 turns. That's why people often run sunspot. I pulled Wiccan and trust me he's mid. There can be some really fun things you might be able to do when he hits. But the requirement of using all energy makes him more inconsistent. Also, the extra energy might often create anti-synergy with Speed
tbh it would've been alright to skip if cards go back on spotlights 2-3 months after releasing to give you a 2nd chance to get it now that more people know the best synergies and deck construction but still long enough to give chance for early buyers to enjoy the privilege of owning it early
Wiccan can be subbed for anything. Usually, it just ends up as a "win more." 🏆 You can play just fine without, and I'd highly recommend waiting until he comes back to the spotlight so you can get 2 new cards at once.
this is the deck that i played to get to Infinite rank 3,146. nothing to brag about but that's my highest rank ever 😊. there is another bounce deck similar to this, but with Ajax and Hazmat, i think i'll give it a try. anyways, thanx for the videos, soo happy to see you back and having fun with snap !
Never really understood the wiccan hate, he's absolutely solid and fun to play. Been playing wiccan bounce since last season, and dropped it for symbiote spider bounce, but this list looks fantastic.
Not perfect replacements. Kate helps even your curve and enable Wiccan. The deck would probably be okay without her by adding in another value 2 cost. Either an on reveal or something flexible like Jeff.
I need to pick up werewolf. I keep seeing him featured in all sorts of decks. I love using annihilus, and affliction/ajax and such too and see him in a bunch of those as well. And now a darkhawk/wiccan deck? Yeah he's def worth some resources then eh?
Damn i hope i find white widow, i see her in every deck, in this deck i substituted her and werewolf with widow and rockslide, but that card is super broken
I still don't have Shaw and Cull Obsidian! Since the podcast I've only purchased a 2-3 small bundles and the SP's. Most of what I was missing I pulled from spotlights each week!
I really don't like the clickbait titles TLSG has been going for now since his break, and I've been watching less and less because of it. Nor do I like how every video I click on now with hin showcasing a deck the very first game is always a match with an insane location advantage. I get why this is the case for the sake of views, but it seems so off brand for TLSG who used to be so honest with his videos. I understand the pressure of growing the channel more, especially since he has a family of his own, but I don't think this is the way to do it for several reasons. Right now he's turning away from his niche and slowly becoming a less charismatic Cozy, which will burn him in the long run because he's not that kind of guy. He had a niche and shouldn't abandon it as well as his intellectual integrity.
I really appreciate the feedback. The first game I showcase is usually one of my first tester games with a deck where I'm not commentating. I pull one that had a cool play or ending, but I'll be more mindful in the future to look out for large locational advantages. As far as clickbaity titles. I'm sure I can tone it down a bit. I mainly started including WR into the title and in the deck explanation because so often I got comments that I was just cherry picking games to throw together a showcase. I've always strived to only showcase decks that had exceptional wr, so I started including that and my sample size to provide a more complete picture.
@TLSGMarvelSnap I'm not saying he's wrong to feel that way, or the feed back is invalid. I just want to state I feel like someone will complain no matter what, and I've been enjoying the new content. I don't think it's all that deep, and I don't agree that there is any dishonest intentions or practices that you should feel bad about.
Ugh another Wiccan deck from everyone. Wish later top decks will exclude Wiccan/Speed. Skipped most of last season cards to get most of this seasons cards. Edit: My ignorance is showing. I didn’t finish the video so I missed the alternate decks section.

Elektra is probably a sleeper counter to all these Hood decks, especially if you are also playing her in bounce to snipe the demon too

Missing Kate and sable any good alternatives for the first deck ? I don’t have Ajax so the other two decks I can use
I'd probably replace Sable with Iceman. Kate is harder to replace, I'd personally lean more into the Hawk and run Rockslide in this deck.

Rocket would be a decent sub. Higher ceiling but more reliant on reading your opponents plays!

Sable will find her way into almost every bounce deck and most Ajax shells. If you like either of those two I feel like you'll use her a lot!

he just fits so well in bounce/clog lists, and that is what everyone is running today, unfortunatelly theres no escape from the meta for now
