Great trip down memory bank! I remember watching this and other 1994 TNN races live but couldn't recall David Pearson teaming up with Joy and Baker in the booth. Now I know why, he barely spoke! I hope he was getting paid by word...lol. He was obviously out of his element. Just an odd fit since by 1994 the production standards were very high...
I was there not knowing what was about to take place. A great race track, a fast one mile. Look at the stands, fan's are there. Look at the infield, fan's are there....
Mike Joy and Buddy Baker were good together. Pearson obviously was out of his element. Before 94 TNN had a great team of Joy, Baker, and Neil Bonnett. Of course that changed when Bonnett was killed at Daytona at the start of the season.
I'd love for NASCAR to bring back The Rock.
or instead of building cookie cutters, build another track like rockingham.
@@sicfrynutor just bring back Rockingham
This track is anyones race. The rock.
Except between 90-93, Kyle Petty was the man, 3 wins, poles, im a Kyle Petty fan if you can't tell...lol..his glory years

Did they have a contest to find the 3 guys that would put you to sleep calling a race. Wow! Thank God Eli Gould would take over the TNN Broadcast.
