I just built 6 of these with the 100 grain stainless steel outserts. Love them so far. Just bare shaft nock tuned them today through paper. It’s absolutely amazing how much that affected the way the arrow leaves the bow...I had almost full inch tears through paper on some, spun the nock 90 degrees, shot again, and kept repeating until I got bullet holes with every shaft...a bit tedious, but hey...quarantine. Don’t skip this step before fletching! Don’t make your vanes have to work harder than they should.
I'm trying to decide which weight on the centric system to get, 50 or 100 gb, I will be using the 350 spine at 28.5 inches Mathews V3 at approx. 60 lbs
That’s would depend on what you’re hunting and the desired trajectory. If you can handle the loss in speed go heavier, you may have to just your arrow shorter to get a better dynamic Reaction though
It’s great option for guys as well! They seem to switch shaft manufacturers trying to find a strong micro. They currently are using Vap which seems to be a good fit so far
Just noticed during your second arrow that you forgot to epoxy the insert before installing in the shaft. Maybe you want to drop a little note in? Thanks for the vid
@@PMOUTDOORS24 I was all Bowtech until the Realms, then a few Carbon Hoyts. Still have an RX3 but the VXR may get the nod for treestand time this year. I had a 70 lb Mach 1 briefly but just not quite the manners I'm looking for. Very accurate bow though 👍
Curious to know your thoughts on FOC. I was excited about these but the arrow is so heavy it’s hard to get it over 16% without building a 700+ grain arrow for 29” inch cuts.
FOC is a bi product of a good arrow build in my opinion. I’ve chased FOC and to do it you’re going with a thin walled shaft or going waaaaay heavy. I keep mine around 15% give it take and they has been a great happy medium. Build a solid arrow and the FOC will be there.
@@PMOUTDOORS24 I was definitely checking out these arrows. But I’m honestly not excited about micro diameters and the weird components that come with it when considering a high FOC arrow. I prefer a standard diameter shaft .246 and a super solid gold tip 100grain brass or even the stainless steel ethics inserts. A lot of the arrow companies are behind the curve in durability and spine. I like some of the carbon express carbon weave styles but they don’t offer much beyond the 350. So I’m going with Sirius Vulcan
I'm about to order a dozen. I looked at the chart but what do you think? I got pse xpedite 70 pound 29" DL I'm looking for at least 18% FOC. Should I get the 275 spine with 100 grain stainless steel components and 100 grain head? Thank you
That would be a solid build but I doubt you would get the FOC if 18%. Honestly though I wouldn’t worry about the FOC with that build. Build a solid arrow and the FOC will usually be there. That would probably be around a 14% FOC
Awesome! I have different brands of components but same system and this was very helpful!
I really want to get these arrows but they’re kind of intimidating. I have always just bought pre built arrows.
You can buy these pre built as well 🤘
@@PMOUTDOORS24 thanks for responding, I didn’t realize you could. I’ll definitely need to look into them more.

Sounds like a great build process! 👊

Thanks, Garrett! I just built two Day Six test arrows to bare shaft test with. Thanks for the video! I also just subscribed.
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely! Looks like you have some great content! Take care!
What are your thoughts on the Valkyrie system?

Yeah I am trying their test kit, I unfortunately didn’t measure right so the arrows were too short. But I’m sending them back to get longer ones.
I am excited to try it, if this doesn’t work out for me I was going to also try the day six ones.
I can give first hand successes with the day six system. It’s the best I’ve used so far
Good to know! Might try them out.

Great instruction Garret. Off topic, but what bow did you settle on this year??
So I’m still rocking my Evoke 31 from last year. But my favorite bow right now is the stealth Mach 1

Would you recommend the 100 or the 150 grain outserts? I was going to try and get 300 grains up front with the 250 spine shaft.
That depends on your bow setup but either one is solid.
@@PMOUTDOORS24 Thank you!

Which arrow spinner is that?
This is the apple spinner. The pine ridge one is much better and way cheaper
Are these the 50 grain aluminum or 100 grain stainless components?
These are the 50
