I 'lost' the love of my child for 6 years, then at age 21 she started to warm up to me again. Stay hopeful!

Such a moving story, Ms Della Reese was just wonderful she was a great actress and the rest of them as well. Just an emotional story.
Very heartbreaking when her son was taken away but she never lose hope. Very heartwarming when her son finally came to her. My tears could not stop flowing. BEAUTIFUL.

One of the greatest movies I’ve ever watched and I am 77 years old. I wish every adult living could see it. Sometimes in real life evil happens to the best among us. 💔 This Beautiful soul never gave up praying for a miracle from God and because he loved her so much he gave her that miracle before he called her back home. He also brought families together and the truth all came out. Another example of Gods Love and how important it is to know God, to trust in him and to never give up hope. 🙏🙏🙏
Yes very true ... Just a shame it took 50yrs of people thinking she was crazy and they got away with it because they be dead by the time it all came out the truth, but I guess at least the Son got to know the truth most importantly.

The way this movie made me absolutely sob. 😭 My heart not only breaks for her, but for my Ancestors whose children were ripped from them and sold as Property. Cruelty and evil unimaginable has happened to some of the best people in this world. I hope they were reunited in Heaven, and have Eternal Peace. 🙏🏽💕✝️

What an amazing movie..I cried so hard, my mother endured her older son's kidnapping in the civil wsr in El Salvador and she never found him..she told me once that on the day he was kidnapped she died, she looked for him everywhere for years and years ...oh my God this movie helped me to see a new angle of her deep suffering...she died 12 years ago

This movie moved me to tears. Touched my heart deeply. Reminds me of the scripture he uses the base things to confound tulhe wise. Some thought they were better than Lily and in the end she taught them and touched them and changed their lives for the better. That is God. His ways are not our ways they are higher. Praise Ahayah

Scars and testament of so many that were ridiculed and harassed to a point where some would think they were mad when talking alone but it's gnawing pain that leaves them powerless. Omg! 😢 I didn't know what this movie was about. My daughter was taken from me and she was only 12. It left a whole in my heart the size of the grand canyon. She's still alive and the pain almost killed me. 💔
