Night shift tastes the best. Nothing tastes better than digging into some fine flavorful Chibom, after 7pm in Ghana with a chill drink. Childhood memories man....
I am from New Orleans and have lived in Ghana for more than a year. Their food is similar to Creole cuisine. A lot of seafood and soups. But the flavor profile is different. The prices fluctuate but the food is extremely cheap and gets even cheaper when you go outside of Accra. I never knew that the turkey butt was illegal but it was good.

As a Ghanaian , the main reason for the night market is to relax and chill out without hasle, unlike during daylight which is for business , so the markets becomes so busy
Turkey Tail is all over in Ghana and its called 'Chofi'. Sellers are okay to sell now without any harassment from the Police. Even, some Policemen enjoy eating Chofi.😂😂😂 Food prices in Ghana are generally more cheaper than the prices they bought all the foods in the video. Osu is an expensive suburb in Accra with the Oxford Streets where more rich people and Foreigners love to eat and do some purchases so the sellers also sell a bit higher comparatively because it's more expensive to rent a Store, House or get land as location for business. There are more cheaper street foods in Ghana far below $1 or 0.50Cents. Ghanaian foods are so natural and healthy. Ghana is so Sweet.❤ Plan to Visit to enjoy Ghana for yourselves.👍 Don't forget to eat Fufu in Kumasi.😋 AKWAABA (Welcome) to Ghana.🇬🇭
Turkey tails, sometimes called “turkey butts,” are the fatty, fleshy tail ends of turkeys. They have been banned or restricted in certain parts of the world due to health concerns. The main reason for the restriction is their high-fat content, which can contribute to health issues such as obesity and heart disease when consumed in large quantities. For example, in some Pacific island nations like Samoa, American Samoa, and Tonga, turkey tails were banned or restricted to combat rising rates of obesity and related health issues. These areas faced public health challenges due to the increased consumption of fatty, processed foods, including turkey tails, which were often imported at low cost. The ban was intended to promote healthier diets and reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases. However, the ban on turkey tails in these regions has been lifted or relaxed in some cases, but there are still efforts to promote healthier eating habits among the population. In most other parts of the world, turkey tails are legal and can be found in various cuisines, especially in communities where they are considered a delicacy.
there is a Link between turkey tails consumption and obesity in certain countries. It went so bad that So some countries had to ban the importation. We don’t have an obesity problem in Africa…for the most part, but the ban in some places was preventive. As an African, 3 dollars for street food is crazy. Most of them are under a dollar. 3,58? ….😮
Hii guy, love ur reactions!🔥....... The day shift or night shift doesn't really matter, it depends on when and what u want to eat. Food is available up until 1am depending on where you find yourself in Accra. The only routinely difference is availability of certain meals at certain times, again depending on the area. Also, certain meals are sold mostly/only at night like the toasted bread and egg (CHIBOM - FRY TOGETHER) in a pan for example. Can't wait for u guys come to Ghana! Cheers!

The average daily salary for a Ghanaian is around $1.20. For 24 hours. So the food looks relatively cheap here but alot of Ghanaians can't actually afford it lol
In Ghana Shinkafa or kwenkwen is a rice dish which is kinda in between jollof and fried rice. The main difference is less tomatoes, local brown rice and a heavy dose of dawadawa.
