My question is, which is better, to merge the hard drives to store the data or leave them as individual drives in the event that one of the drives should fail?

in nextcloud.subdomain.conf change the default value from 2048m to 1024m

Thank you sir.. tried follow many video before but not working.. stuck after add container and cannot access nextcloud.. but your video helped me a lot..😄😄 just only one error on nextcloud.subdomain.conf file, on proxy_max_temp_file_size. Need to change to default value which is the value is 1024

After setting this up, the web ui login for the entire nas is now public with the ip obtained from duckDNS, Is this expected behavior? I thought only the NextCloud would be public not the entire OMV server itself

is it possible to access nextcloud locally? i guess some additional swag configuration needed? currently it just opens some default swag HTML page when I try to connect via local IP address

I did exact steps described by you but when i deploy stack it gives me error as " Deployment error: failed to deploy a stack: service "swag" refers to undefined volume 443: invalid compose project" pls give me a solution.
Just look closely, when edit the file make sure you do it RIGHT. avoid anay space or small change... when edit file. Also make sure your port fordward work.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Sharing the solution to one step I struggled with:
When I was typing my duckdns domain at 12:56, it was forwarding me to my router's admin page. I solved it by changing the port forwarding. Initially, I had public port 443 and private port 443. But in my stack, I was using port 444:443. So I had to change port forwarding on the router to public port 443 and private port 444.
On another note, I got a 504 timeout at 17:00 but everything worked after refreshing the page.
Same error also for me when I try to create the admin user, I got 504 timeout error and then the subdomain with the nextcloud is not accessible.
Did you ever figured how to open without forwarding to router?
@@janezhitori6203 Nope, it only worked after fixing the port forwarding.
@@FilipeLimaPT there is a way without opening the ports. Check video of @DB Tech he made a video about cloudflare tunneling. I bought domain and now im using it only for cloud, so have no issues in local and outside with nextcloud app on phones.
Sama problem over here. I cant figure it out. Im forwarding port 81 and 444 (cant use 443) In my stack i've got 444:444 and 81:80
