- I am not actually sick in or of the Volkswagen Tiguan TDI, I am just sick. Who isn't this winter? Good grief, it is like the flu decided it missed us for those couple of Covid years and so is back with a vengeance. Anyhoo, back to the Tiguan TDI - a firm favourite of mine, but just a tad too expensive for my liking.
All those s u v s you talking about that cost R20000 cheaper are not the same quality, they are plastic and cheaply build no comparison.
Yup, the price, the price. Looking at second hand alternatives now and you might as well buy a Q5.

Oh, and I have a Duster Techroad. The Isofix is a MISSION!
Really? It is the pits when Isofix makes it even harder when they should make life easier

I prefer the pre-facelift of the Tiguan. VW facelift game is weak on this one.

Tiguan is ugly and has an outdated design. Never liked it.
Almost every other SUV in this segment is newer and has better tech at lower prices. However, that diesel engine is great. You'll get great fuel economy on the highway and great towing ability. Far better than the other competition which only has turbo petrol which guzzle fuel.
With all due respect, I drive a TDI, and what a brilliant car. Not as refined as petrol, but responsive and economical.
As a matter of interest: I just spent a week in the Kruger Park, did some 1700km, pulled trailer for about half the distance (from Pta), and averaged 14km/l. Note: not on the trip computer, but measured full tank to full tank. I am one of those mad people that keeps record on every cent I spend on my vehicle(s).

I have the 73 reg R line tdi in deep black pearl it's beautiful to look at but it's been back to the dealers 7 times in total since I got in November ,because the ride is so bad and rattly and uncomfortable that it feels like the suspension on the left side is broken ..it's worst than an old bus ,be say they can't find anything .yet a second opinion from kwikfit said the left shocker was defective .i showed VW the report and they still won't look into it ,I've considered canceling my finance but realy need a car that's reliable and good for motorways and I cnst wait another year to have one built to replace it ..oh and also very have damaged all the wheel nut area on my brand new misanos with the wheel brace ..one is took down to the metal ..I have complained and they won't like it 😡anyways all in all I give the car 4 out of 10 and that's just for looks the ready is terrible ..Sory but it's true,i dint know if the smaller standard wheels would have made difference in this version paired with 4 motion wich i dont have and maybe adaptive suspension wich i also dont have 🤷
too expensive, you can get a pre-facelift BMW X3 2.0dxdrive for R20k more.

The DSG problem you talk about has been fixed years ago. Be went from a dry clutch to wet clutch. Stop claiming things are a problem when they arent

How does this channel even exist? I have an Allspace which has none of issues you mention. I have driven at least 4 Tiguan Gen2 and 2.x by now. You are full of nonsense.
