Being in the second year as an assistant, this was pretty accurate. I have had some of these conversations, but some have not been able to been addressed. The personality differences have been
difficult to address , but that comes with working with people.Thank you for the videos!

Working with others can certainly be tricky at times. There does have to be some level of acceptance at times on just "how someone is" but then again, we may be underestimating a colleague's willingness to adjust to make things better. Good to hear from you, James. Hope all is well.

Very accurate on things I have felt. I just finish ten years as an assistant and getting the urge to move to a head position. I'm just thinking if I should seek more mentorship first or jump right in. The last thing I want to do is bring a successful program down. That is my biggest fear. But my resume lacks experience in a head position so it would be harder for me to get the job.
