NOOO! I forgot all about that song; it's such a good example of synthwave on a console that doesn't ever tackle that genre. Should have remembered to check that soundtrack for this playlist. 🤦♂️
@@ReeseKaine I'm not sure about that one. I've only got a couple of games so far that I didn't cover, so I'd have to have quite a bit more music to make a follow up video, even one only half as long.
if you wanna get technical, meeting with destiny isn't *r e a l l y* an original ROM hack song, but it's still 100% a goddamn banger and i'm glad it's in CTSE edit: one sunny day when we met is also in here, that song bops as well
Sorry! I thought the V5 instruments sounded tinny at first, so I passed it up. But hey, this playlist gives people the chance to check out some of the other great songs in the soundtrack!
Minus Infinity is one of my favorite hacks of all time! And yes, it's soundtrack is great, though many tracks are lifted from other songs on the NES. The ones that aren't have some higher pitched noises that I passed up for other hacks' songs.
@@supergamerguy7676 Yeah, I gotcha. If I remember correctly, there actually isn't a single original track in Minus Infinity, but hey, still awesome music! I appreciate this video and all the work you do, homie.
@@SonicMaster519 thank you! I'll make sure to include some more Minus Infinity tracks in a potential second video..... if I ever find enough custom music to do so!
@@supergamerguy7676 Oh, you bet! I think you should pull some tracks from Mega Man 4 Voyage and Star Fox EX as well -- both have really good soundtracks! Good luck with that theoretical second video.
@SonicMaster519 lol, almost half this playlist is Mega Man 4 Voyage tracks. All jokes aside, I had forgotten Star Fox EX had a custom soundtrack! That's another favorite of mine.
Don't forget to the credit the people that made the music as a vgm remixer and arranger ì know how long it can take to create those tunes. Seen a few of my tunes on msu-1 snes and genesis hacks releases and the uploader took full credit not mentioning the me and the people that spent sometimes months making these and it helps us to have people sent to our channels and pages
I'd love to, but there's quite a lot of people here to credit, especially since there's no room left in the video's description. 😓 I have noted every hack and song title in this playlist, though, so interested people can always go and find out who composed that music for themselves!
While appretiated, two feedback points: - volume is way too low. Need to raise the gain or something. I have to turn volume up way high on my speakers or headphones and if i forget to put it back down and switch to another youtube video, it ends up BLASTING. - need to turn on cross fade so one song nicely blends into the next. With this being 4+ hours long, its a great ambient background music for work or cleaning or what ever. But the hard pause between tracks makes it not as enjoyable.
Thanks for the suggestions! Turning up the gain is not much of an option, unfortunately, as many tracks in my playlists don't match a normal sound level when they were recorded to an MP3 file. Lowering the gain works to even out most of the tracks, which makes for nice background music. Listeners can always turn the music up, rather than hit a wall turning their music volume down! As for the cross-fade idea, I've experimented in the past with it, but to little avail. Most listeners seem to prefer a nice break in the audio for a few seconds, to allow for some time to process the song that just ended. It also mimics the audio of a traditional playlist on any album or streaming service.
@Sanqui I really wish I could, but the video file is 10+ GB, and that easily exceeds the file sharing options I have available. There are plenty of TH-cam to MP4 sites that should do the trick, however. Hopefully, one of those can help you out!
@@supergamerguy7676 Oh, I know how to download a TH-cam video, but I would prefer individual files for each track, like an album, rather than a single 4 hour piece. I understand if it's complicated though!
@@Sanqui Ah, I see what you mean now. I had someone on the RHDN forums ask a similar question, so I'll share my response here: "As for the individual songs, I had to hunt for most of them on a certain VGM mp3 site that I'm not sure I can share directly? But even then, there's a fair amount of songs that were only available on TH-cam, with or without a file hosting download link."

Wow, what a track! Fantastic
The Super Mario Bros. CD team killed it with their music so far. I'm looking forward to the hack's full release!
thank you algorithm for blessing me with this recommendation
I'm glad to see this has reached the TH-cam algorithm already!!!
i kinda really love how youve got this playlist sorted by 'vibe', thats a cool idea!
Thank you so much!
¡Nice selection! Thank you for the showcase 🙂
No problem! This was a ton of fun to make.
I can already tell this is a great playlist! I like the way the songs are divided by mood! Great work!
Thank you! I tried to have the music ramp up appropriately, so listeners can ease into the playlist and hop off at any point.
Bro make more of these, I like the concept of this vid lol
I may in the future! Gonna need a lot more custom music tho
the way i recognised the genshin and tomodachi motifs and then seeing th names of the hacks i was so confused lmaoo these tracks are great
Yep! Those composers did an amazing job translating those songs into their hacks' soundfonts.

Yep! It does count as custom music, by technicality, and the CTSE team did a great job porting it over.
bro puts every Sonic Megamix theme in except the iconic one with like 50 fan remixes (Starry Night Zone)

Thank you for giving it a shot! Hopefully, more people can find out about these romhacks through this.
I've really really enjoyed the calming part. It's perfect for cooking!! 😄
That's great! Good to know splitting up the music worked!
This is so beautiful! Such a great way for discovering new music AND great romhacks!
Thanks! That's exactly what I meant for it to be!!!
I haven't even listened yet but this is King shit. Shoutout to all the romhackers
Yessir. This is the good stuff.
Love this idea. Personally hoping for that one remix of SMW bowser from Extra Mario Bros.
Thanks for checking this out! I didn't even know Extra Mario Bros. had custom music, but that final boss theme isn't too bad!
It’d be really cool if you put more Rockman 4: Minus Infinity tracks on here. I love that hack and its soundtrack is amazing!
