From someone who mostly composed for TOHO's tokusatsu films, this is quite peaceful actually.

Very reminiscent of Koyunbaba by Carlo Demeniconi yet still it’s own masterwork

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieses perfekt komponierten Meisterwerks im lyrischen Tempo mit durchsichtigen Tönen des orientalischen Instruments und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Echt tiefempfunden!

When the world bends around itself, when the structures of a civilization falter, it is good to return to that which in history does not bend, but on the contrary recovers courage, gathers the separated, pacifies without bruising. It is worth recalling that the genius of creation is also at work in a history more and more devoted to the destruction

I like the clear sound of the instrument, I like the tempo, but I don't get the notes, I miss a melody, it sounds chaotic (to me, to my "western" ear).
I don't know "how" to listen to this music, but I wish I could.
Anyway that man created the Godzilla soundtracks, which I love :)

I agree. It’s definitely a unique experience to hear to our “western” ears :P but a good experience!

@@classicaltrav not too weird if you consider blues at a creeping pace with bent notes in 5-7-12 tone 'pockets' toss in the right flats and sharps etc. the difference in rhythmic tendencies definitely obscures the way to the bridge between them s to speak.

The harp is one of the instruments more metamorfotic when is forte or low in intensity, seems to me like it was different from itself. The dicotomy of menschliche Rasse ❤

I believe you’re referring to what’s called a koto. Not sure if it could be technically counted as a harp or not.
