Joe Landers I was going to comment on that, my daughter lost her 4 day old baby Nov 3rd and she walks around the house in a daze just doing the motions, but even with the medication she says it’s too hard to bare, thank God she has a 12 yr old to live for she says. I wonder if they are giving Peach medication, but it is obvious she is highly depressed, Kenta was her all and all. Peach actions remind me of my daughter, someone in a deep depression, I hope time will help both of them.
Grandma....I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your daughter's baby, your grandchild. You and your daughter will be in my prayers. My sister went through the same experience 5 years ago. It certainly takes time, but time has helped heal her. I also hope you are healing, as well. That is something we share in common. And I believe the Tama chimps have helped you as much as me to provide a great level of happiness during our healing. My sincere condolences to you and your family, Grandma.

Has anybody noticed Bon Bon pulling his hair out. I believe the fight they had is causing him a great deal of stress and anxiety. He uncertain of not only his future but also Deckys.
one fight would not likely cause him to be plucking hair (though I did not even see him doing it..could you give us the timestamp?). If he was then likely it is the result of a more long term stressor...the fight may have triggered it but would usually be more to it
Probably his over protective mom grooms him too much, he sure is very calm without Cherry and Berry. I think if those 2 would have stayed out of the fight it wouldn’t have been so bad.
It looked like around 8:12 he was pulling his hair out, either eating it or looking at it. Being as close to us as they are he may have some psychological issues. Even family pets, cats or dogs, can have chemical imbalances . Once they have the prescription they can live a much better life.
@@glennastephens2638 I dont think BB was pulling hair out looks to me he was maybe swatting at a fly on head or he feels something up there and is picking at it .... you would know a plucking of hair if you saw it
LOL, Sheila! If it is not nailed down, Fubuki will own it in seconds, or break it. I believe it was King44 who once posted that the Tama staff could place a solid steel, 500lb anvil in the yard, and Fubuki would find a way to crack it in half! :)
Peach you poor soul, I really hope Tama staff are watching her closely, I mean she even had sakura grooming her and if you all have watch specially last few months you know that sakura is really unsettled when it comes to being anywhere near Peach... As for Bonbon this is what he needs to spend time with other chimps besides mama and auntie...I think BB hanging with momoko and her family of mikan fubuki and {adoptee} sakura is awesome.... love the way when BB got antsy momoko either opened mouthed him or laid her hand on his tummy to let him know it will be alright......and then you have my man chimp Gin knowing to sit quietly by BB side and watch.... Momoko is so motherly to Sakura, the looks she gives her around 5:49 show so much concern for her. Then little sweetheart Fubuki comes and gives her his can, it must be love😍😁 What was most interesting was when Fubuki and Sakura were acting like 2 kids in the backseat of a car hitting each other, Bonbon seemed to get agitated and Momoko pressed in on his stomach and he seemed to calm down. Wonder what that was all about???🐵❤🐵

Just as I thought sukura was gaining more confidence she took off in fear of her life. She thought Nana was about to attack her I think she's trying hard wonder what makes her so nervous
I think what we are seeing is fascinating. Author Nathaniel Hawthorne once wrote that, "Families are always rising and falling". We are seeing that at Tama. Gin is rising from a low level family, because of a wonderful mother, Sazae. She instilled in her stepson street smarts, intelligence, and the confidence of a prince. Gin undoubtedly will become Alpha one day. Momoko's mid-level family is rising, too. Her incredible parenting has gained her much increased respect among the troupe. She raised a devoted and intensely loyal daughter, and she is raising an uber-confident, incredibly athletic and very intelligent little chimp who no doubt will one day be the next Kenta....the next Great Alpha. It is fun to watch!
I have to say Peach was very depressed after Kenta passed. Soon as she had plum her depression went away. She has someone to care for to love. It’s really a story. Each one has a story to tell of their lives. Wish we would know how much they know. Love them all even Cherry and Bon bon
Plus his mommy takes his food away and tells him what to do. Plus he can’t produce doesn’t break up fights. Honestly I can see Gin taking over til ibuki is old enough. Ibuki is way ahead of his age. Not even two and can forage food for himself, makes his own tools climbs the ropes like gin everyone loves him. He has peach around his finger and that has never happened to have the alpha female love him.

I am absolutely no expert, but what I have observed during 6 years of viewing Caramel's videos is a troupe of chimpanzees that are, on the whole, healthy, treated very well and respectfully, fed very well, secure and not exploited or abused. And the troupe groom each other quite a bit from what I have observed. Also, Peach's current depression is understandable to any long time observer. Lastly, the troupe, in most videos, are very active....running, wrestling, climbing, etc.

The zoo is providing a good home for a large family of chimpanzees, I watch other zoo chimpanzees and people make the same comments on those zoos also. This whole troop just lost their major leadership in Kenta their Alfa for over 20 yrs, this whole group is in different stages of mourning, it’s why I’m not mad at Bonbon, Cherry or Berry, ( of course it’s different for Decky because Kenta wasn’t his alpha) but we are seeing major changes and will from now on. I’m sure with no secure leadership at all right now, due to Decky being out of commission the group is set back even more. Plus remember we only see a fraction of a fraction of a 24 hour day. This isn’t a sanctuary it is a zoo!
