The Taualuga was amazing but the money throwing threw me off. In Upolu/Savaii it's considered disrespectful to throw money at the Taupou/Manaia that are performing we usually put money in a basket maybe the customs are different from Tutuila i'm guessing ?
@@Nahmee money was never rewarded or given in an any Taualuga...its was only when europeans started to arrive in Samoa and currency was starting to become the norm where this money throwing became a thing especially when tourism started to kick off in samoa

Correct. Money throwing at Taupous were done in family reunions only. It somehow became a normal thing to do in public/ceremonial events too. :/
