On the way to YAROSLAVL. Golden Ring of Russia. Summertime.

Hey everybody!
This weekend we visited Yaroslavl, an interesting city in Russia which is full of history and beauty. One of the highlights of the trip was actually on the way to Yaroslavl and back to Moscow when we took the train as it's a mode of transport I've wanted to experience for a long time!
Overall, it was a fun trip. We had some delicious Georgian food, visited many churches and the museum, looked over the Volga river (longest river in Europe), walked through the park, had some drinks at a few bars, ate a traditional Russian lunch and fell down in the fountain…
Yaroslavl is situated at the confluence of the Volga and Kotorosl Rivers around 300 km north-east of Moscow, the historic city of Yaroslavl developed into a major commercial centre from the 11th century.
Just 3 hours from the capital of Russia and you are in the very centre of Yaroslavl.
Yaroslavl is one of the Golden Ring cities, a group of historic cities northeast of Moscow that have played an important role in Russian history. The historic part of the city is a World Heritage Site.
You can find a little structure, the Lady of Kazan Chapel. If you have a one thousand rubles banknote, you can find it there as well along with the monument to Yaroslav the Wise, the founder of the city.
Huge part of the historic centre was renovated with some new sightseeings constructed. Strelka park is one of them, it’s a huge promenade area at the bank of the Volga river with beautiful views.
