How to Disassemble & Maintain a Button Lock: Vosteed Raccoon. Can anyone tell me why the button lock spring on my knife has become super stiff after reassembly? It is so much so that the detent won't let the blade release unless I press the button.

Try taking it apart flipping the spring around and try to keep the spring in the center of the button, you can put a small dab of grease in the inside of the button to keep the spring in place. Sometimes the spring can get sideways causing the plunger to get wedged towards the blade causing more pressure 👍🍻🍻

I didn’t like the guillotine drop on my Begleiter2 so I tightened up the pivot to my liking after I stretched the spring to increase the detent.
