She's not human Her Melismas are so freaking perfect She Kills it A Beast By All Means her F#5's are so impressive and I'll dye for her F5's And I Love Her Head Voice
TY for sharing this! ❤️💕Listening to Keke has helped me tremendously! I almost walked away from singing, I was devastated! I am 55 & and my vocals have changed. I lost my confidence but my love to sing keep me pushing. I am grateful!
That's what everyone else says (full lyric ), but I'm not sure. I never really felt like she was full lyric to me. Spinto's are also said to be able to push their voices to dramatic climaxes too, so that part makes me indecisive about her being a Spinto. So I'm indifferent ImperfectbutRedeemed
David Washington in comparison to other spintos like Whitney Deborah Cox and Tanya Blount....her voice isnt as dark but compared to Ariana Grande or a Tamar Braxton who has a high tessitura/vocal placement....keke doesnt sound as much like a full lyric soprano. I dont think shes a mezzo soprano. She def has mezzo qualities though.
ImperfectbutRedeemed Could she be considered a Dramatic/ Wagnerian Soprano? Although she has a little extension on the high and low ends she seems very "vocally " supported from C3 - D6. What are y'alls thoughts?
I looked hard! I don’t know if someone took it down from YT. Did a thorough search and I can’t find it either! I can’t remember what performance it was. 😩
What is her voice type? I was thinking Dramatic Coloratura Soprano?? Since she has mid-blowing agility and seamless connection between registers, a medium to large size voice and defiantly has a larger imput than a regular coloratura. Her voice seems to handle dramatic passages quite well, and she blossoms and grows louder as she ascends, plus she has a darker colored voice than most sopranos. I might be wrong, since there aren't many Dramatic Coloraturas in the pop world to compare with (Apart from Cherry Lynn). Any thoughts?
I'd say Spinto Soprano, her voice can be dark but as she ascends and when she's within her tessitura her voice brightens significantly, but yes, her voice is dark, so much that I've considered her to be a mezzo lol. She does handle dramatic passages quite well but her voice is not really dramatic and has no metallic or screechy timbre compared to other dramatic voice types and even falcons. Her voice is really big, but thats not the only qualification for a dramatic voice and I love her agility!!
+Phillip Ma'aelopa yes I think you're right, her voice is so confusing that is very hard to classify her, I though she was a Dramatic Coloratura since she had such large imput, but the C6+ register and mind blowing agility, which isn't very common among Spinto Voices, but yeah, I think she's a Spinto, with great ability, her runs give life!! I though no one could top Patti in IOYK, but DAAAMN!! She saaangs the shit out that song every single time!! Lol
Music Fan haha yes regardless of her voice type, it is undeniable that she has a God-given instrument. However I disagree, cause if you look at Whitney, she was a spinto in her prime and she could ascend up to C6 and her volume output was tremendous. Her voice was also dark it confused the heka outta me and I also thought she was a mezzo as well due to the strength of her middle voice.
Abel Rodrigues she is a lyric soprano full to be exact. Spinto are not known for agility but holding notes for a long period of time with a dark and heavy voice which is a big voice but not as big as a dramatic soprano aka jhud is an example of that.
Abel Rodrigues agility has nothing to do with fach. Whitney is a spinto but her agility is really fast & she can do coloratura feats as well. Even dramatics & heavier fach(like Contralto) can be agile as well.
mariahcareynum1fan Doesn't she also have an E6 in performance that she belts a F#5 in this vocal bettle here (/watch?v=hJ4QPbRRHKQ) it's this same song at 7:11 I don't know the name of the song tho..but she hits a E6
What IS her actual vocal range, anyone know? While she has a nice voice, it sounds like she shouts to hit notes, nor can she sustain her belted notes for periods of time. Beautiful voice though.
@@ThePianoguy89 yall think cuz someone hits a high note, they're automatically a soprano. I hear a warm middle register and LOTS of effort at the top. She is a coloratura mezzo. I just want her to hit the top notes without a ton of runs. See the vid she did with Jhud. Now that's a soprano Keke isn't a natural soprano
I proud to your range, your belt, your high notes there Wyatt. But, do you realize, too much lick and runs when you sing. It makes me feel dizzy. They are too much and over than proportional improvisation. Too much really. Did you try deliver a song message or just playing acrobatic ?
I has a dark yet bright core. It is hard to explain. I do not mean this is a negative way. Whatever colors the voice have, they all can be beautiful. Leontyne Price has one of the most beautiful soprano voices of the century and her tone be darker than chocolate!
KeKe Wyatt is a beautiful Full Lyric Soprano! She is a great singer! What a great voice!
She's not human Her Melismas are so freaking perfect She Kills it
A Beast By All Means her F#5's are so impressive and I'll dye for her F5's
And I Love Her Head Voice
I love her F5's and her F#5's too!
Phillip Ma'aelopa I Think Her F#5's are her best Live belts she has most comfort at that note
I couldn't agree more!! Her voice is just unreal tbh!! Happy New Years btw!
Phillip Ma'aelopa Happy New Years To Yeah I Made I Video About Her On My Channel BTW You Can Check It Out If You Want To :D
oh ok cool, ill give it a look :D
Yesss! Been waiting on someone to do this! Thanks so much! She sets the standard for all sopranos today
"Juicy" is what I think when I hear her voice. Its rounded mature and big.
Then in contrast she has a sweeter more flexible tone capable of agility.
Yeeessss I always say this!
TY for sharing this! ❤️💕Listening to Keke has helped me tremendously! I almost walked away from singing, I was devastated! I am 55 & and my vocals have changed. I lost my confidence but my love to sing keep me pushing. I am grateful!
i need to check her disography out what a beast!
I honestly don’t understand why she’s so underrated, she’s an absolute vocal beast! Nobody is out singing KeKe that I can tell
Because she doesn’t dress to sexy and dance she’s a beast at singing.
@@laquittawallace5399cut white folks don't wanna hear all the runs and oversinging lol
Some white folks. I live for keke churching it
Bravo.
You have to be the only person I've ever seen put 4th octave notes for a female singer.
People are so damn obsessed with C5 and up.
Thank you. I love the 4th octave. It has a great tone and usually sounds full and supported because it's not too high or too low.
+mariahcareynum1fan exactly.
I almost never see 4th octaves and some people havr great 4th octaves belts
KEKE needs better management team
her voice is AMAZING
She also needs more discipline. She could have had it all because seriously that voice, that soul... she's amazing.
I think she’s out of the game
Those F#5s at 7:02 always get to me!!!
What song is it?
Her head voice is amazing!
AMAAAZING
YES! I knew she could sing C3 or lower! Lately she has been seeming mezzo'ish with the low notes. Her voice is amazing from bottom to top.
Sometimes I feel like she is a spinto soprano because she belts with a really warm/borderline dark timbre but shes a full lyric soprano right?

it's 2024 and I'm still hearing this video, and which is the fall in love performance of the first C5? like i have not being able to find it
I looked hard! I don’t know if someone took it down from YT. Did a thorough search and I can’t find it either! I can’t remember what performance it was. 😩
Her lows sound like a man's!! So delicious!! 😋
I expected her to mix well beyond G#5 but good none the less
She has went up to A5 this year.
+ThePianoguy89 ok
Edward Wheeler she's gone up to Bb5 as well
You know what, I wanna hear a vocal battle between her and Beyoncé, live, note for note, Bb2-G#5-Eb6...
LaQuinton Lockett that bitch beyonce overrated. and will never be better than keke, Mariah, and whitney..
C heart Your are just a Beyoncé hater and are always bashing her whereever you go.
C heart bitch shut the fuck up seriously .
C heart that’s a bit over the top . Personally I think KeKe would take it but why you gotta be so hateful?
Keke would sing beyonce under the table baby
She has gone down to F#2 before...
Yeahh I saw it too lol

Hey where r u now?
What is that C5 duet performance?
+Kaylan Udell "Endless Love". It's on TH-cam. I think it was for someone's wedding.
Hey what's her vocal type? I know she is soprano but what kind of soprano?
Adrian Nicollas Dramatic or Spinto
kpoptastic she is neither, she is a Full Lyric Soprano
She might be a coloratura. She has lot of agility.
Elvandrè Randall Coakley she has coloratura abilities but that’s more of a skill than an actual fach
Spinto
Guys isn't she too agile to be Spinto? i heard those types of soprano have agility but nothing like she has
Adrian Nicollas Shes a Full lyric soprano. With "potential" coloratura agility

What's the song for the first A5?
The song is called "You". Here is the video th-cam.com/video/9O8qmdVO1cU/w-d-xo.html
you forgotten to add her E6 here.
The last Eb6 is the supposed E6 (from the Tom Joyner Show), but I caught the harmony at Eb6. It does not sound like an E6 to me.

that's a different note I posted tho.
What IS her actual vocal range, anyone know?
While she has a nice voice, it sounds like she shouts to hit notes, nor can she sustain her belted notes for periods of time. Beautiful voice though.
omg wtf she has held notes as long as mariah has
Delusion at it's finest
I agree which is why I think she's a mezzo. she can get up there but doesn't live up there
@@mugrad25 Everything about her voice points to a soprano instrument.
@@ThePianoguy89 yall think cuz someone hits a high note, they're automatically a soprano. I hear a warm middle register and LOTS of effort at the top. She is a coloratura mezzo. It depends on the genre honestly.
She is a Spinto soprano, period. Her voice is too heavy to be a lyric soprano. Her voice be dark too, so yeah...Spinto soprano!
chosentenore her voice isnt dark at all
