I got that you don't want heavy layering.. but you should apply more sunscreen (3 finger rule).. as we may not be able to reapply sunscreen everyday...
Follow double cleansing, if you have applied makeup or sunscreen..

Sunscreen should be applied religiously every day for every3 hours reapplication is must especially for u people who are shooting.and atleast 1/4th teaspoon of sunscreen should be applied to acquire enough sun protection.
