Smite 2 is a downgrade in almost every way except graphics, just another way to sell skins. Smite 1 feels so much smoother and looks like is has a soul.
People really moved to an incomplete alpha with paid access meant to balance and change things and expected a fully polished game and ranked experience that can support a content cycle for creators? You can't make this shit up.
Only thing I moved onto was Deadlock lmao. Smite 2 is really rough right now. They should open it to the public ASAP so we don't have to wait 10 minutes for a queue.
@@DonPhamadio Facts, my only issue with it is that other than Belona and Thanatos I'm not a real big fan of the gods in Smite 2. The active items make support builds much more fun and interesting and the game just feels fresh. Some things feel off and very weird at times and i don't get why the leveling seems to be much slower. Also i don't understand why they didn't incorporate a lot of the jungle changes from smite 1
Smite2 was fun but I got bored very quickly. Biggest issues with Smite2: 1) God pool is 23 currently which gets boring very quickly playing the same gods over and over. 2) SBMM is nonexistent, you will consistently have teammates that DC, Rage quit, there’s at times you get bots I swear because they will run into tower from the start, it’s terrible. 3) Ranked is terrible as well, clunky, lobbies glitchy and I have extremely fast wifi. I have had friends have the same issues as well. Just not enjoyable honestly I know this is the Alpha so I’m not expecting a finished game but I do enjoy smite1 more honestly as of now. Hope to see more changes in the upcoming months
and the reasons why those are issues is because smite 2 is a nothing burger of a game. It doesn't add anything of quality do anything thats stand out for changes over smite 1. Smite 2 could have potentially did a poll for each roll of characters. And Did a complete overhaul of character kits to better fit a smoother gamplay feel and for the sake of a new game. keep whats works and change what's problematic or just outright shit. Fuck all those things you listed actually. The game is just bad from its Base
@@lancecoleman6684 I have to disagree, because the way smite2 new build system is gods like Vamana, Arachne for example can’t be released until they make changes because they would be broken. Freya would just dominate smite2, so I gotta say they have done a good job in adding gods and updating the items accordingly. Every god has gotten a rework and has either a new passive, new ability, or their ult has gotten tweaked. Biggest flaw is the limited god pool but it is an alpha, they fixed a lot of the things I’ve listed and the game is playable but until more gods come out it’s not something you game for a while. That being said, SBMM is still an issue but they won’t address it probably until December which is fine.

You guys know that he can do smite 1 videos without saying smite 2 is a failure, right? Like no duh a game with 11+ years of development is more feature complete but that doesn't mean Smite 2 alpha isn't a strong foundation for the future of the franchise
