The lack of depth perception is a real thing, I couldn't catch a ball, I'd grab for things that were way too far away from me. How the fuck did he keep fighting at a professional level with one eye. He isn't one of my favorite fighters but I have definitely come to enjoy him more since he won the title and then retired. The Kelvin fight gained him a lot of respect I think and his commentary and knowledge of the sport is excellent as well.

There's definitely a HUGE difference in having painful and unexpected cuts on your eye during a fight. Opposed to not having a working eye for years and being able go through training camps and adjusting the best you can to having one eye. I'm not saying it's easy. But it's drastically different from an eye gouge during a fight. Ever had your eyes badly scratched? I have. More than once. You can't physically keep your eyes open. You have to hold them open. Damn man I love Bisping he embodies everything about fighting and the UFC. I still remember when he knocked out Rockhold for the title Jumping up and down as if I won the belt. His Hall of Fame speech was amazing he deserves every bit of recognition. Apart from his fighting career, he’s a family man, Great wife great kids and the man tells it how it is. Sure he can be brash but he is who he is and doesn’t pretend to be anything else . Respect
Bisbing always got on my nerves early in his career, somewhat grew on me towards the end, and now since hes retired (with the glass eye reveal) and doing commentary hes moved up to one of he most bad ass fighters ever

He isn't one of my favorite fighters but I have definitely come to enjoy him more since he won the title and then retired. The Kelvin fight gained him a lot of respect I think and his commentary and knowledge of the sport is excellent as well.

There's definitely a HUGE difference in having painful and unexpected cuts on your eye during a fight. Opposed to not having a working eye for years and being able go through training camps and adjusting the best you can to having one eye. I'm not saying it's easy. But it's drastically different from an eye gouge during a fight. Ever had your eyes badly scratched? I have. More than once. You can't physically keep your eyes open. You have to hold them open. It's a different thing. You people bitching about Stephen's are just ignorant.
