Man, I took way too long to beat this game and you made it look easy. Things I learned in this video: 1. You can throw rocks really, really far, and over cliff walls 2. Throw rocks at enemies enough times and they'll run to your location 3. You can use captured soldiers to distract enemy units above stairs/buildings 4. The harpoon is the most broken weapon ever. Seriously, some of those angles shouldn't even be possible 5. Kill the leader of the enemy patrol group and the other troops will stand there not knowing what to do until you give them a quick death 6. The harpoon is the most broken weapon ever 7. Using the raft to blow up the mines was simply genius 8. Did I mention how incredibly broken I think the harpoon is?
2. Throw rocks onto enemies only makes them come if they are walking in first place. Doing it on steady patrols will not do anything other than distract them. 5. Actually this is a sort of "bug" in the game. In the end you can see how the soldier doesn't react to the patrol leader being killed and keeps walking like nothing happens. The program only makes them be aware of the kill if it's behind them (which results in the soldier turning and seeing you). 7. It was very clever, although you could come up with this idea if you already learned the broken boat can be fixed by having the marine pick it up again.
I remember this Iconic mission was f@#$ing hard. And it was just the 1st one lol. BEL had the most cleverly designed missions of all the commandos games.
mean i miss this game, remember having fun with the machinegunner on the left side, where they can't hit you if you stand behind any object or move towards or away from them

mar cor There are many games like this but differ in the gaming content This kind of games called SRPG But if you looking for almost similar i dont know about them but i could say this game have some parts But i dont recommend the last part because its 1st person shooter game.

I would recommend age of empires 2 hd on steam This game is pure strategy and old game in 1999 but its just remastered on steam some years ago but still the same game with better balance of strategy. Also can played single player or multiplayer with others on steam. This game uses swords and some gun powder technologies. But you need to make army instead of fixed charecters There is also commandos 2 And commandos 3 Both can be played on modern pc But not as hard as this one.
Similar games: DESPERADOS: WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE SHADOW TACTICS Games which are an "upgrade" on this series: JAGGED ALLIANCE: BACK IN ACTION JAGGED ALLIANCE: CROSSFIRE This two games are basically like commandos, but way more RTS, and it has also RPG (I would not call COMANDOS SRPG because you cannot modify them). The improvements are: you can customize your mercenaries, and each time they make a task they get more point on each field.....for example using an axe to kill increases your strenght, using one marine to do sniper shots increases his target accuracy, using the medkit increases your medical knowledge.... Also you can "program" several mercs to do tasks at once, to create coordinated attacks (really awesome feature)

Haha I remember how I was just killing everyone in this game as a kid :D Like, hiding in the corner and waiting when the enemy comes close.
