北京时间8月4日，2022年全国U15青少年篮球联赛山东烟台赛区女子组决赛，山东高速 79-77 逆转险胜常州体校，夺得该组别冠军。
山东队主力中锋、身高2米23的张子宇只打了三节比赛，独得62分和13个篮板。她还凭借着场均34.9分、7.4篮板、1.4封盖的数据，被评为本站比赛的MVP（最有价值球员）和最佳得分手。

On August 4th, Beijing time, in the women's finals of the 2022 National U15 Youth Basketball League Shandong Yantai Division, Shandong Expressway made a 79-77 win over Changzhou Sports School and won the championship in this group.
Shandong team's main center, Zhang Ziyu, who is 2.23 meters tall, only played three quarters and scored 62 points and 13 rebounds. She was also named the MVP (Most Valuable Player) and the best scorer of the game by averaging 34.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.

Americans and other Europeans from posts on the internet are saying that the northern Chinese, especially in Shandong, are like the Dutch on steroids when it comes to height. As tall on average as the Dutch but with alot more people then the Dutch so they have millions and millions of tall people in northern China because of their large population.
Hahaha I have never laughed so much about a Basketball game. That's like the special Monster from a Video or Game.

觉得山东的教练的战术是奏效的... 上半场尽量收起高妹，然后消耗体校的体能；来到下半场，大家的三分球都不准的时候，高妹就占尽优势，不管是进攻或防守，高个子站到蓝底就震慑对手。
任何比賽, 都以結果來行量.
张子宇速度慢应该有难以改变的原因，如果勉强她加快很可能受伤。
當年姚明也一樣, 在中國訓練是不行. 也須要更高層次的人出聲才行. 反正就是浪費人材.
Only 15 dang that look ridiculous and she's not even done growing yet, it's like a giant among midgets😂, but can she dunk? Need to get some tutelage from big Yao and watch those old battles Yao had with Shaq and develop some nastiness to her game. She still young with bright future ahead her.
Her parents are well known athletes in China. Her father is 7 foot 2 and her mother is 6 foot 4.
I do not think she can dunk, but yes, with some strength/power training & body weight maintenance, she might be able to. But women in general have a harder time with vertical jumps (hormonal balance on musculature imho). There are a rare few pro female ballers out there that can dunk shorter than her, but again it's a rare few & their dunks aren't even as aggressive & powerful as men's. She needs to also be careful with her body weight as she ages, as planet gravity is not much of a friend of people who are overly taller than the averages. This includes foot problems. But since she's only around 15 or so years old, she looks to still have some baby fat on her, unless that's just her overall genetics. You would have to look at the athletic history of both her parents to see where her own body shape is headed in the future.

Tall Chinese were already commonly known for probably centuries. I knew about them like 4 decades ago at least. They're mostly from northern areas & sometimes up in the mountainous regions. I'm going off what I remember 4 decades ago, heh. I would say that just like any other cultures & nations in history, tribes like to keep to themselves most of the time. China has many different tribes & probably the taller Chinese were tribes that liked to keep to themselves in isolation from other Chinese tribes & thus it is probably surprising to others around the world that China has tall people, because unfortunately & sadly Chinese, in general, have become somewhat stereotyped on the whole into being one of the shorter or average heights people, I think.
CHINA seems to think that being "tall" is the only requirement for being apart of a basketball team. They should consider that having skills would be helpful!

身高高的人尽量不要扣篮，下来踩到脚脚崴了就亏大了，参考姚明。
