Former Galena Park North Shore High School Assistant Football Coach Andrew Cameron was issued a three-year suspension from all UIL activities. Galena Park North Shore High School Head Football Coach Willie Gaston was issued a two-game suspension to begin at the start of district play for the 2024 Football season for lack of proper oversight of his coaching staff. The committee determined that a coach on Gaston’s staff attempted to recruit student-athletes. The penalties were for violations of Section 51(a)(8), School District Personnel Violations, and Section 52(b), School Violations. Section 51(a)(8) is recruiting violations and Section 52(b) is “Violations of UIL rules: Failing to comply with the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules, when not in conflict with State Board of Education rules or regulations.” UIL decided not to punish the team and instead focused their punishment on the former assistant coach Andrew Cameron and, to a lesser extent, Head Coach Willie Gaston. All North Shore wins will remain official and the Mustangs will be fully eligible for the 2024-25 playoffs.
Wanna know why? Because our team was talking shit again and got to confident. Man I swear ceking has so much potential but the cocky boasting of our players is such a drawback. All respect to northshore they have a great team and always will. Ceking needs to get their shit together and show more class than taking to ig and social media to talk smack.
@@cristianmartinez-ur3wd I had no idea that they were bumping their gums online but you certainly don't hear about teams like St. John Bosco or Mater Dei doing that shit.
@@ryanmccarthy8625 exactly. Don't get me wrong it's important to be competitive and talking smack is part of the game but openly running your mouth claiming your gonna beat the states best team and then getting blown out is embarrassing. Should be working harder not talking louder
@@cristianmartinez-ur3wd Precisely. My friend and I were at that particular game last Thursday and we saw several things that the Panthers need to work on. First of all, their quarterback wasn't worth a shit in terms of accuracy and quickness. He was choking like Shadow Creek's quarterback during the playoffs last year. And the only real challenge that the C.E. King has on their schedule this season is Atascocita and if they lose to them, then they'll fall further in the rankings.
Was Deandre Hardeman in Sheldon ISD previously?
