@@patienthands I’ve watched your tutorial a number of times in the past, it’s the most detailed one out there for sure. Nicely done and I like your super calm delivery :) I prefer to play in the original C#G#C#D#A#C tuning but need a second guitar to leave in this tuning!
Good to hear him sounding more like the guy we fell in love with all those years ago. I've played that room many times. It's pretty small but always fun. Cool he's playing guitar again and singing better. I thought he was pretty much done but who knows, maybe he'll get back to great songwriting. He was my favorite for a really long time..
Beautiful song. That’s all there is. Just a gorgeous song. I watched that fight as a 9 year old and I love this damn song. This and Katy song are my favorites by Mark.
aw the way he's interacting with his audience makes me happy. i don't know he looks a bit more humbled here... maybe it's just me. regardless, i'm glad he's well
Do you really think the guys at the front videoing Mark are really in the moment and enjoying the experience, they're videoing the same thing! The most annoying thing about going to a gig these days is those bloody cameras. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the uploads of gigs but does everyone have to film it.
He doesn’t normally allow filming at all. No one was filming until these last two songs where he specifically told the crowd to film them (if they wanted to. It wasn’t a command obviously)
@@WeBad19 Hi Rob, yes I do realise that, I was only commenting on how so many people film gigs, you wonder if they really get the full experience of being there, also looking at other peoples camera in the air all bloody night is annoying.
Mark letting people film him, playing solo, playing standing up, singing in pitch... Wow, his time off really did something to him! I love it!
and playing classics
His heart needed to shed a few tears. 💝
Through music.
He sounds like he's not taking his fans for granted anymore.
He sounds great. His playing is sharp. I’m glad he is back.
It was always a dream of mine to be able to play Alesund, being one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard.
just keep trying. after 2 years i can play it now
i made a tutorial for it on my page here if that helps
@@jusicko2788 I’m 99% there, just haven’t perfected the tremolo in the intro. I’ll get there!

@@Tweekend27 I'm a pianist so please excuse the dumb question, but he ain't playing in the standard E tuning, is he?
I think the straight run from Duk Koo Kim right through to Alesund works really well here. Top post.
AGREED 👍 👍 👍
Holy shit…. One of the best versions ever of DKK. Wow. He’s back
Love this song... something about it grabs you and makes you listen
Wonderful renditions of those beautiful songs. Alesund especially because it's one of my favourites.
I remember when I heard this song for the first time on Son's of Anarchy ~ it was and still is mesmerizing...

Abolutley magical live performance

i'm not exactly a fan of filming entire performances when at a show, but I would definitely record this one
Phenomenal..... Uncharted
💚💚💚💚💪💪💪😈🤘🤘🤘Soooooo much too me.....
Thank you for sharing this experience
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing OP
💗
Amazing performance
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Everybody's filming it 🤣👍🏻
yep, he looks like he doesn't mind it at all here...
He requested us to… a rare and fortunate occurrence! ✨
❤
I wonder if Mark has carpal tunnel
Does anyone know the tuning he’s using?
C#G#C#D#A#C#
C on the high E. Not C#. Sorry.
I was honestly worried he'd lost his voice through these last years of rambling onstage (I liked that too tho, but...).
what tuning is this in? does anyone know?
Ever figure it out???
These times we live in... When Hozier gets 8M views with their crying and this gets 12k. It confirms 90% of people are spoonfed mutton.
I also love hozier man, i dont see why its gotta be a competition
A lot like Mimicking birds

You do realize you’re enjoying a video that someone else behind them filmed right?

i thought he had arthritis and couldn't play guitar anymore
