Woodpeckers StabilMax Trim Router Base gives your small router a more stable footing, eliminating the all-too-familiar "dip" at corners and narrow sections of pattern work. The extended tear-drop shape and large handle give you the extra support you need for flawless edge profiles. Machined from solid phenolic on our CNC gantry mill, the StabilMax has perfectly located mounting holes for the most popular trim routers on the market. For even more versatility, the base is milled to accept Porter-Cable style template guide bushings. But we didn't stop at just fitting in the guide bushings, we included a centering pin so you can locate the guide bushing perfectly concentric with the collet.

It's crazy that they didn't make it fit the Milwaukee cordless trim router..... That's one of the most popular trim routers in use right now if not THE most popular!!

Not really a Dewalt fan, but Dewalt's palm router is much better than the Milwaukee's offering. Sorry but it's true

@@Zamboni-0805 sorry but I have to disagree. I own the Makita, Dewalt and 4 Milwaukee trim routers. I always reach for the Milwaukee first. If I have to rate them, Milwaukee comes in first, then Makita, followed by Dewalt 3rd. And I am not a brand loyalist.... I use whatever is best. Although honestly they are are excellent trim routers.

Another cool addition to your lineup and, as others have mentioned, at a great price.
Couple of ideas for version 2.0: holes underneath for centering pins and maybe even some compatibility for an edge guide and/or circle cutting arm. Looking forward to see what you come up with next. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍

I’m impressed. I know some guys have large bases for trim routers but you price and reputation goes a long way to nab a good piece of this market. It’s on my short list. Thanks Jeff

This fits so many routers, is there any surface left to smoothly round those corners without catching on one of twenty-three holes?🤣
It would be nice to see you offer at least two bases to cover all the routers so half as many holes would be on each of them. Or offer a blank as well so it could be drilled to fit as needed.
    All the Best, Chuck.
P.S. It was added to my Wish-List. 👍

@@WoodpeckersLLC I received mine today. The assembly sheet doesn't mention Milwaukee, and the diagram doesn't show the Milwaukee mounting holes. There are four undocumented holes on the base. These four undocumented holes fit the Milwaukee 2723-20 perfectly. Other than the outdated assembly sheet, the StabilMax base works with the Milwaukee 2723-20 perfectly.

Hi Jeff! Was disappointed to see the Stabilmax isn't pre-drilled to mate with the Milwaukee M18 Compact Router, which is by far the best small router I have ever used. But you guys have hit the nail on the head with this trim router base - much needed! So, I'm going to order one anyway and see if I can drill the mounting holes myself.
