Rath Yatra 2024 : আজ রথযাত্রা। জগন্নাথ দেবের রথযাত্রা ঘিরে সেজে উঠেছে পুরী। রথযাত্রায় অংশ নিতে লক্ষাধিক ভক্ত সমাগম জগন্নাথধামে। জগন্নাথ, বলরাম, সুভদ্রার জন্য তৈরি তিনটি বিশাল রথ। রথের রশ্মিতে টান দিতে ভিড় দেশি-বিদেশি পুণ্যার্থী। রীতি মেনে সকাল থেকেই মাহেশে শুরু পুজোপাঠ। সকাল থেকেই মাহেশে সাজো সাজো রব। এবছর মাহেশে ৬২৮-তম রথ উৎসব। ভোগ নিবেদনের পর গর্ভগৃহ থেকে জগন্নাথ, বলরাম, সুভদ্রাকে রাখা হবে মন্দিরের চাতালে। দেওয়া হলে খিচুড়ি, অন্ন পায়েস। জগন্নাথ মন্দিরের পাশে স্থানপিঁড়ির মাঠে বসেছে মেলা।
