Nice to see I'm not the only one who can take special care to mark things and still mess it up at assembly!
I noticed that jab at Matthias. That was too funny!
Steve I've been watching you for a very long time and it's really cool to see how much your craft has improved and how you learn from your mistakes. It's a real treat watching your videos.
Serving up a Stool full of compound angles with a smile and a chuckle! Good job and I loved the Opps clip as well!
I busted up when you made the drill press table comment. You're hilarious!
I love your show 'cause it's informative & my wife loves it 'cause some of the things you do & your reactions to them make her laugh. Either way keep up the good work.
Chit Chat Minutes ... Love this project and will probably make this.
'Challenging' isthe first thing that went through my head on seeing those compound angled legs Those intro jokes that tie in with the commercial are *priceless*, I hope your sponsor realises that! This would be exactly what I'd be looking for in advertising. God is in the details.
Beautiful project it combines skills and mathematics and patience
Good job
Thanks Steve! I just finished your simple garden bench and it is amazing and a very study design. Can't wait to build this project!
Thanks for including your little screw-ups, helps me feel more human because I have those soul bolstering challenges all of the time, still I love it!
hy steve i last did woodwork 70year ago but gave it up but having watched all your vids over the last few months i have decided to give it another go thanks for the great entertainment keep up the good work
Thanks, Steve. I thinks its awesome that you offer all your plans for free. I’ll be making this one for sure. Keep up the good work.
Excelente!!!! It's a beautiful job!!! Profesor!!!! Congratulations!!! I say hello from Argentina!!!!
Here in Australia we call those "Wallaby" stools.
And we dont make "pocket holes" we make "Koala burrows". They're Australia's second favorite type of joint...
The glue up got me in stitches. Great as always!
Cheers!
I just made this stool this week, the video was very helpful. I actually spun the seat on a lathe and I am really happy with the outcome. I know this is an old video, but thanks!
Thank you man for all of your videos you are alot of fun to watch you make love wood work because of your simplicity and kindness ....keep up the good work
Love your videos, Steve. My favorite woodworking channel.
Great project! Love your presentation skills! Thanks for all the hard work!
Wonderful project, thanks Steve.
Great job Steve. Thank you again for more inspiration.
That turned out very nice, thanks for sharing Steve.
Great job with the dowels, steve!
LOVE the comment about being glad you have a drill press table! LOL Could you IMAGINE how hard it would be to drill those WITHOUT a drill press table? HELL!
_Meanwhile, matthias sits in his workshop, determined to make a jig for that_
My old garage sale special stool with the leather seat covered in duct tape because it's coming apart needs to be replaced.... and I think you just gave me a reason to replace it! Thanks, Steve for your great content and inspiration.
Nicely designed and executed as usual, Steve. WALLABY!
Always enjoy your videos!!! Hope you keep the videos going. Lots of really awesome projects and helpful tips and tricks
I made my folding leg stool simply because I could not figure out the angles and cuts for the legs on a classic stool..lol... Thank you for showing how it's done.. I'm definitely going to make one now!
Laney, I've been missing your video's lately. I always enjoyed watching them. What happened????
Glad to see you are using the Digital Angle Gauges we sent you =)
Steve I have to say the first time I watched one of your video's, you didn't really jive with me I guess is the best way to put it, but I have grown to appreciate your work and think your a pretty alright guy. Keep up the great videos!
STEVE 're a genius CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOUR WORK LIKE ME

wow who would have thought bar stools took so much effort to make.
This is a great one Steve. Nice work.
Useful tips and to the point. Good job!
GRACIAS POR TRADUCIR LOS VIDEOS!!! MUY BUENO!!!
Matthias W. would be throwing that drill press table out the window and getting angry! LOL!!!! He is a funny dude! This reminded me of his "why I don't use a drill press table" video he uploaded the other day.. HAHA!!! Nice bar stool Steve!
I need a stool for my kitchen. A very timely project for me.
I did it! Took all stinkin day, but it is done. Turned out pretty nice. I doweled the legs to the seat in stead of pocket screws.
Great idea! I'm going to try and adjust the design to incorporate some sort of backing on it.
I declare your drill press table anathema!
Great build as always Steve and entertaining as well. I love the MeMo posts at the end. Especially Gavins from St. Petersburg, FL. I'd recognize that Million Dollar pier anywhere. (inverted pyramid)
Turn out nice. Looks nicer than the ones with the turned legs. Challenging for sure. I just made one very similar to yours.
Excellent presentation Steve. U dun good. Thank U.
Very nice Steve.
Excellent build Steve,
I really loved the cheap shot at Matthias (Drill Press table...)
Regards,
Bob

You realize Matthias is going to build that stool in 2 steps with his panto-router ... which I will enjoy watching. ;-)
Steve is a cool guy!
Hi Steve: Great stool, keep up the good work, Cheers Harry

Cara ficou muito bom parabéns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff !
You are starting to get a lot of really nice (expensave) tools and accesories.
Also, nice jab about the drill press table. I just got a small Jet and plan on making a small table for mine.
Perfecto! Justo queria hacer unos para mi taller, asi es mejor, gracias y saludos desde Mexico!
OMG....hilarious..especially the sped up part with saloon-ish music music ..it was like watching the Three Stooges without the Odd Couple. I really...REALLY enjoy your videos Steve. Shout out from Paramaribo Suriname South-America
Great video Steve. I really liked the Purple Ravens gloves you wore.
Excellent instructive video...
so yeah, now you got to make the other 3 ^^. Anyway love the good mood you have in those videos, don't have any shop but watch every video :D someday it'll be useful. Keep it up thx.
It was fun when you were confused to set the legs totally. This type of stool was my first project around 3 years ago. I used the rectangual half lap jointed instead of dowells for my stool.
Man that was one funny video! Especially the guy who said microjig!
Haha and there is definitely no woodworker who could get along without a drill press table! Or is there one guy who insists he can, maybe? ^^ Nice bar stool by the way! All these angles really require some thinking!
Great video, rabbit rabbit sounds like Chaz and Dave. Need to make a few of these, thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Steve. I'm planning on building 6 to 8 of these for a bar we are building out of repurposed bowling alley. I'll send photos when they are done, but first I have to build a bar made out of bowling alley, a large diameter compass and a drill press table....
Good thing you marked those... hehe
almost hysterical laughing @ the drill press table comment.
Usted siempre me hace reír con sus vídeos
Very Good
Brilliant lil project Steve, also really loved the lil bit when you were confused :?

LOL! This is one of the many reasons why I enjoy your show. You are not afraid to show your mistakes or weakenesses. Keep up the good job. Can you show a video on how to make a shot glass display case. Thanks
