We visited Bananas last week,first time. We were just staying near to this 2 wheeler parking place. Sorry to say or may be I was having a total different image of Banaras I didn’t find this place clean at all. Everywhere was traffic and chaos. People were chewing paan and were spitting on roads. Everywhere was so unhygienic. But Yaa, Baba Visawanath temple has changed a lot. The newly built corridor is really remarkable and it has enhanced temple beauty a lot. What I think government is doing a lot for its side, now it’s on us who needs to understand the value of hygiene!
see traffic chaos will always be there because area is very small and population density is too high..... so traffic chaos is bound to happpen.... but I agree with you on the part that people need to keep their city clean..... they need to throw paper waste, wrapper waste only in dust bin, not to spit on road etc...... it will come slowly and gradually...... also ppl are praising varanasi because they are comparing it with pre 2014 varanasi..... so when you compare with that varanasi, this varanasi even being not top notch as per your imagination is still very clean and organized. also yransforming a city is a long term work which may take 20-25 years. base work has been done and varanasi has been brought to the level of other normal cities.... now next leg of work willl start to make it better than average city and take it to the level of top notch cultural, clean and peaceful city....

I m agreed on this topic as Varanasi is changing but as i am a Varanasi lover , wants to visit again and again, I faced a big problem related to accommodation here , small hotels charge triple then they deserve for , i paid 3000 per night for staying and on the other hands much better accommodation i got in Puri. Where I stayed for 6 days and room charges were only 1500 a night , so please focus on that also as middle class families can not afford that any how
Problem is, Varanasi began receiving way more tourists before development of much hotels and due to this, there's much more demand than availability. This is not the case in Puri. Though I am sure, in few years, it would be adjusted.
@@hiihello7625 no sir it’s not the case the case is govt has not made any plan for tourism , we are the people of a great country which has the best tourist attractions but our govt has not made any such plan for this sector , I m a chef by profession and works in USA now this is the time our govt should take this opportunity to attract more tourists from other countries and this one effect can make a big difference in economy, only one or two states were doing it before now no one
