PERFECT SOFT VOCAL REVERB 🎤

- These settings are amazing if you’ve got a soft vocal and you want it to sound nice and present in the mix
You’ll get that sound where you can hear the vocal has reverb, but it’s not swamping the mix with reverb
You’ll want to save this for later 👀
Grab a Valhalla VintageVerb (or any other high-quality reverb)
Colour: 1970, Mode: Plate
Set the mix to around 15%,
decay time to 1.25 seconds,
Use the EQ section on the reverb to remove low-end muddiness and any harsh high frequencies.
Now this will give the vocals a subtle sense of space without drowning them in reverb.

Nice!! The vocalist went from the far end of the hallway to the ever present acoustic flavor of the bathroom! This is good!
Good tip for sure. Especially for the right singing vocalist
STREAKY IS REALLY DIFFERENT WITH THIS ENGINEERING THING BRO 😤😤😤😤
That reverb plugin is only good in tutorials, once I open it, it doesn't do what I want it to .
Use your ears bruh, don’t mix with your eyes
Im definitely gonna save this for laytah! amazing as always thanks
I use a short delay instead of reverb on my guitar set up. Sounds ace .
It makes a huge difference! :O
Thank you 😊 Im always think this color feature is just for the color of plugin 🤷🏻♂️😀 I think I have pretty much soft voice and now I'm practicing a lot on singing working on my debut synthwave juicy album.
Thanks!
Thanks you’ve taught me so much 😊
Thank you Streaky by the way after doing the master course I got the streaming bang on for my latest track on streaming services -8 but my previous track they lowered it too much need to work that out.
Yes, great one. Thanks!
You're ma saviour !!!
Thank you streaky. Best short tutorials
HANDS DOWNNNN
Just in time for a current project I’m working on, Streaky!
Perfect verb for house!
I'm following you because of this video
THATS HOW I KNOW. got me rolling.

Awsome ....thank you so mucho...... worked for me
Perfectttt
THE GOATTTT
Very nice
great tip my friend
How is this advice any different from general vocal reverb skills...
awesomeee
Great trick 🔥🇧🇷
Wonderful
🙏
Heck yeah
nice
I put that reverb with those settings on a special FX channel, added it to the vocal bus on the send, set it to maximum, but it doesn't have the power that you hear...
This plus put in on a send followed by a compressor sidechained against the vocal so that it ducks the reverb when the vocal is present... :)
I think a chorus would have made her sound better. Reverb gates like that sounds a bit old fashioned to me just my opinion. No hate. I love your TH-cam page especially
Or just adjust the pre delay?
Ill share a vocal magic secret for you: I bought a vintage Summit Audio TL-100 (regretfullly sold it because I was doing only instrumentals) to a guy in Stockholm who demoed it against his vintage LA2A I couldnt believe it, it had this 3D silk to it which LA2A falled a little short of. I was sure it wouldnt really stand a chance.
The LA2A was like 5000 USD. I sold the TLA-100 for USD 1500 😢. I had some old Teletronix valves in it.
Just a little secret for you.
hmm
My vocals always have a subtle signs of space because I record in the closet 🙂
Same here. And some noise still leaks in from outside 😂

@@TheHonestTruth don't tell me what to do
@@TheHonestTruth jk, yeah... I should change my mic one day

I wanna know how to mix husky vocal like heavy vocal mixing reverb eq and compressor can u explain it ?? Please make a video on it
❤❤❤ sort sweet simple love and respect from india
Don't Shrek it, got it!
Do you use it as an aux or insert?
i prefer the ambience setting but everything else looked good
But on vocal channel or on FX buss added to Master ?
Hi can i use this on audacity plz is there a tutorial how to download and use it on there
So many way to mix and so many ways to mess it all up.. been mixing and mastering for a good while to understand it’s not what I want as an engineer but more importantly what the artist gives me as far as references.. think the best engineers in the world would agree.. doesn’t matter what I want as long as the artist is happy you hit it right on the money for there moneys worth
Did you sidechain the rev? That's like ducking the rev with Comp whole the vocal plays or you applied directly on the vocals?

Can I do this with Valhalla Supermassive? If so, how can I do this?
Respected sir what's app this is would you tell please I want to know.
Is this an insert on the channel or a send? To reverb?
is the volume of the vocal supposed to go up when i raise how much i send to the valhalla ?

Thanks father of MC Daniel
What software is it 😶😶??
It's really amazing. Thank you very much.
Looks like Reverb on the channel insert
Use my settings to make your thing work! Guess what? So many variable that it won’t
But we only put effect in sends...
Is this insert or buss
Send or channel?
What about the settings native to Lpx? Why do we have to keep buying new plugins to use your great tips?
🤷♂️
Do you put this right on the track ,as I mostly put my reverb on a return? Cause most people use 💯 wet for return and blend the fader 🎚️ in😊
Was thinking same thing
Put it on a return, blend it in.
@@Heaven-dy9lj yes we know this but the confusion is with the 15% mix knob
This application name 😢
But did u put it on the track or send
Looks like he’s got it as a direct insert, or he would have put the Valhalla mix on 100% and the DAW send on 15% - I’m just guessing.
This is on a send or directly on the vocal channel????
I assume that it is on the vocal channel, he turned the mix knob down. I'll personally leave at 100% when routing it to a bus and control the amount with the fader instead
Love the noobs falling for this😂
The obvious volume boost on the wet signal is apparent even on a phone…
Valhalla delay automaticaly sidechain so it doesn't do that
I have no idea of the jargon but I didn't like the sound
Thats a nice technique but only if the artist isnt shrek
1111
And use your ears.
BUS? OR DIRECTLY ON TRACK?
I am assuming it’s inserted directly onto channel because his mix is not at 100% like a send would be.

Bathroom reverb
Bro use a send for your reverb not the mix knob 🤦🏽♂️
That reverb sound stinks.. it would benefit from some eq
you need a bit more color grading and makeup to become more handsome.
Why do you look so much like Mark Knopfler???
Singing in a bathroom? Great!
these settings suck
BEST reverb is RAUM ez to use
I can never download valhalla on my Mac for some reason even tho I purchased it
Nice
