どっちも好き
本家の方は雰囲気が良すぎてそれに浸っちゃう。こっちは音がはっきりしてるおかげで歌詞に集中できる。

本家は行く当てもなくぼーっと電車に揺られてる感があったけどこっちは目的地があって乗り込んでる感じがして好き（もちろんどっちも最高）

恐らくだけど背景に流れてる車窓は、岡山県と香川県を結ぶ瀬戸大橋だと思われま~す!!(ぜったいそうだとは言ってない)
本家様のラグトレインはこう…概念に片足突っ込んでる感じで、人ではないモノが人の形を成して歌ってるみたいにボカロとしての利点を最大限に活用した歌い方。
suzieさんがカバーしていらっしゃるラグトレインは、ウォークマンが再生されてガツンと直接入ってくるような「人が歌うならこういう魂の込め方するだろうな」っていう人間味を存分に引き出した歌い方。
結論、どっちも好き。鬼リピ不可避ですね。

AHHHHH THIS IS SO GOOD...i love teto and as many people pointed out this sounds more like...angsty? as opposed to the original which is more mysterious and cold and distant and dreamlike

I never imagined anyone would take teto and make a cover of lagtrain! its so good and well done though
Gonna give my two cents on this one.
With Yuki her singing was more mellow and timid, a sheepish wanderer who comes across a train that takes her to all these places that she isn't familiar with. Then comes Teto who sings with more vigor and emotion, every line she sings is sharp, easy to mouth, and gives the impression that while still a wanderer Teto has some sort of purpose for wandering instead of aimlessly swinging her legs on a path, she has intentions with every place she goes to as opposed to Yuki who wanders just to wander.
You're right and this is something I've never thought of!
Teto has a sharp and clear voice which provides a visible contrast with the songs she covers, including Yuki's OG Lag Train.
