Stephen Thompson is 100% the best at it. He posts HIMSELF being sparked unconscious and in the process of throwing a huge lead in the fight, he still posts it to hype up Pettis.
Wonderboy is the GOAT of being gracious is victory and defeat. Askren also get a a huge nod for taking his L to Jorge like a CHAMP (and yea I know this video was recorded before that fight)
Jorge Masvidal would make my list today after he handled that baptism from Kamaru like a champ. Gave an octagon interview in two different languages, shouted out Usman, and went on to say he's a big fan of his own knockout and showed the same respect in interviews days and weeks later
Lawler's loss to Askren was painful to watch; he could have been the first guy to beat him, pretty much was on the way, and was thought by the ref to have tapped or passed out when he didn't. It was Askren's first fight in the UFC, too, so everyone was watching. Within seconds, Lawler brushed it off and said "it happens." I couldn't believe his incredible sportsmanship
All great ones.. I would put ben askren.. he didn’t do any post fight interviews because he went straight to the hospital but I imagine that he would be just fine. And one thing is important: he didn’t have to but he gladly accepted to go talk to Ariel helwani the day after. And also tweeted “Well that sucked.”... and also say he condoned the fact that Jorge gave those 2 “super necessary” punches. Class act. DC also may have cried, but 5e fact that he rose so well in both 3 times I think is also to highlight although I understand that that is not exactly “dealing well” per say if you are considering right after.
Bisping at 0:55 is the funniest bit of trash talking of all time period. Honestly makes me laugh out loud every time I hear him say he knows a secret because it matches gsps silently confident persona so well 😂
Well the video isnt about fighters who have handled *every* loss in their career well, Its about specific matchups. If they had mentioned the Khabib fight then I'd agree that him being listed makes no sense. But, as far as the fight with Nate is concerned, there is no reason it cant be listed.
How does a rear naked choke, work? Do I have to, essentially, however hopefully momentarily bend the wind pipe or just apply pressure to the side of the neck?
Better would have been the fighters who handled *controversial* losses well. It's easier to lose gracefully when you know you lost. But when you lose a decision you think you won or when you think you got an early stoppage from the ref, that's a more interesting test. I don't know if this can even get 10 fighters on this list. Definitely DJ on his loss to Cejudo. Another would be Robbie Lawler in his loss to Ben Askren. Are there any others?
My predictions before watching the video Anderson Silva Cris Cyborg Fedor Emiliananko Randy Couture Michael bisbing Maybe chuck liddel Maybe manny pacquio
I disagree, every time he’s lost he blames it on him not turning up, saying that means you’ve given your opponent no credit whatsoever, you would’ve beaten him if you wanted too
Why can't ufc understand that these clips on the video promotes their organization. Like people with less knowing about their league can identify their organization.
Nick Marra Khabib is more than just a grappler, his style is very unique as far as the ufc goes, whereas Tony is, I don’t want to say conventional, but you get what I mean right? He’s easier to prepare for than Khabib because there simply aren’t many people in the lightweight with Khabib’s experience, skill and raw strength. That isn’t something that can be overcome with conditioning.
@@Walden-jx4mi Khabib's good, but Tony is a freestyle fighter, and very unpredictable. Khabib will probably be Tony's hardest fight, but I think Tony would find a way out of the ground and pound position that others opponents of Khabib have been caught in. Khabib is a better grappler than Tony, but Khabib doesn't spend much time on foot. Most of his fights end on the ground, so as long as Tony keeps the fight on foot, he has a high chance of winning
He did you jackass he said he lost and he took the shit and recovered from it. And you can see him drinking heavily before his fight with Khabib so yeah he was gassed for a really good reason. Learn the MMA before stupid comments like this
If a guys face is super beat up you automatically think they won the fight? Noo.... No im pretty sure that 99% of people would think that the guy whos faced is beaten in won...
Dont let the Cruz one distract you from the fact that Cody was his last fight 4 yeeaarrss ago and is now getting a title shot off a landslide of a decision loss, but whatever I guess right🤷♂️
I was a relatively new MMA fan when Cruz lost his belt to Garbrandt and didn't know much about him. He earned a lifetime fan with his post fight interviews. Incredible mindset and very motivational.
Not MMA, but my favorite is George Foreman getting screwed in the decision of his final fight... George turns the interview into his first commercial for his Grill... and became the new endorsement Champion
1:33 That is what separates Bisping from being just another UFC douchebag. Yeah he trash talks his opponent but he handles a lot of situations with class too.
How can you not mention... Bisping vs Hendo??? That was the most MASSIVE KO embarrassment ever and yet Bisping shook it off and then went on to beat Anderson Silva... and then Rockhold on short notice for the strap.. #ComeOnMan
I definitely would not include Conor on this list. He gets way too much credit for that Nate loss and his 'handling' of it was hardly consistent. The sneaker king was making excuses soon enough.

Dominic got worked ! Probably my favorite fight I ever watched . Too bad Cody couldn’t ever repeat the skills he showed that day . I would love to see a rematch if Dominic comes back . Maybe Cody can get back his stride and head movement he showed the first fight .
Cris Cyborg should be mentioned as well for her lose to Nunez after her unbeaten streak got snapped. One bad night for her against the gwoat and the ufc cut her.
If you had made this video recently and not nearly 3 years ago, I would say Stephen Thompson deserves a spot on this list, if only an honourable mention. Because he was at the top of the welterweight division not long ago, with victories over fighters like Jorge Masvidal. Then being KOd by Petis and he hasn't even missed a beat, needless to say the man deserves credit and a title fight if he keeps winning fights this year.
Love him or hate him Ben Askren handled that embarrassment well
Cheese Grater he’d definitely feature high up on this list now, but this video was originally recorded before Askren vs Masvidal.
Even Masvidal gave him a s/o on twitter for never making an excuse and taking it like a man.
Masvidal publicly gave askren props for that and still does.
i was expecting to see Askren as number one on this top

That video from the hospital was great. "Knocked out by a lightweight? Superman punch off the cage, shoulda seen that coming!" 😂
Especially since his loss to Anthony Pettis wasn't something you could repeat 9 times out of 10.
