The PADI Advanced Open Water course is probably one of the most enjoyable diving course we've done. Definitely easier than the Open Water Diver Course in our opinion. In this video, we go through each step of the course and share our experiences with you.

We were overly prepared to be scared beyond our minds and somehow when we were there, it wasn't so bad. The lights help a lot and also your buddy is always just right there 😄
Hey Puri and Sue!! So great to see you guys scuba diving in Tioman. It's fun seeing you drive between points, and Mersing Harbor seems like such a nice place to be at. Johan Restaurant's food looked really bomb! Love your room at the dive resort. This one is really nice and cozy. We just love how excited you both are for exploring new depths!! :)

Okay - definitely ptting Pulau Tioman straight to number 1 on our travel list next time we're in Malaysia! Apparently my parents did take me there once when I was a toddler but I really don't remember it!

Yea, the pool dive will ease the anxiety. There's some safety lessons that feels safer to do in a pool like the mask recovery and defogging the mask underwater

Those are some crazy cool games to do through the course with the ping pong ball. Love the life under there. We love the card that changes color based off your depth. Such an amazing experience. The wreck dive... that would be our favorite!! That or the night dive. It was really exciting, and bet a bit freaky to know what's going on under there!! It's fun to be a visitor! You guys got so many dives in!! If we ever make it that way, we would love to experience something like this!! Thanks for taking us with you and love you guys to the moon!! Pulau Tiuman looked absolutely incredible! True must be pretty hard figuring out where you are under water 💧 🤔 never thought about that but it must be pretty easy to get disoriented. Celebrate getting your way back with a drink 🍸 😂✌ great video guys

Oh my guys, I am seeing you going through the rocks under the water and my heart is racing and I am getting claustrophobic. I have no future in diving 😖😖😖

Oh that's not an issue. Before each dive there's a briefing on what to expect. You can always let the divemaster know that you're not comfortable doing certain things and they'll know what to do. It's about having fun after all 😄

Hi @ken . Usually Tioman would be closed from Dec-Feb. But you may check directly with the dive centre if they're open this year in Dec.
To be a certified divers, how much did u pay, how many hours involved?
We paid about RM1,500+ per pax which includes course materials, accomodation and equipment rental for the PADI Open Water Diver course. It takes at least 4 days 3 nights. It's highly recommended to do the theory online. It saves a lot of time and energy when you're on the island
