Interview with Claude Mashego - Miss World SA 2023

An exclusive interview with Miss World South Africa 2023 Dr Claude Mmakgaka Mashego.
Speaking to Progressive Independent Talk Radio TV moments after being crowned the very first Miss World SA, Dr Claude is optimistic that she will bring the Miss World's blue crown to South Africa next year.
Dr Claude Mashego will represent South Africa in India in March 2024 at the Miss World pageant for the most coveted Royal Blue crown in the world of pageants. Mashego who hails from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga was thrilled to be crowned the Miss World South Africa title and promises to bring the Miss World's 'beauty with purpose' title home.
The intern medical doctor and former Miss Mpumalanga 2021 says that the Miss World South Africa journey has been an amazing one that prepared her to contest on the global space for the Miss World's "Beauty with Purpose" title in 2024.
"It has been amazing, every single thing that happened in my life including Miss Mpumalanga 2021 has prepared me for this moment and prepared me for Miss World because as Miss Mpumalanga I was working more with young people, that is where the Young Leaders Network was officially founded". Said Dr. Claude.
Mashego says that at times the journey was an emotional one but she had a very strong support base from family and those around her which made things much better through the contest.
According to the pageant organizer; Carol Bouwer Productions (CBP), Miss World South Africa, is 'a pathway to global impact through beauty and service', to epitomize empowerment of young women with well-shaped opinions, intellect, awareness as well as a sharp focus on world events.
