I like Skip but I would have to disagree with him on his teaching on divorce. Jesus did not say that divorce is allowed for adultery, he said it was allowed for "something unclean." The gospel of Matthew is the only one that states this and this is because Matthew was addressing how Joseph was going to quietly divorce Mary (Matt.1:19). That's why you will not find this exception mentioned in Luke or Mark. So to be blunt, adultery is not grounds for divorce.
It also fails in the context. The disciples were continuously undershooting Jesus's teaching. How many times to forgive, allowances for divorce, what it takes to be saved. Skip's take on divorce was Jesus was siding with the conservative view. I believe Jesus taught something that was beyond the conservative view.

The person who replied "yes" cited no scripture verses. 1st Corinthians 7:39-40 strictly prohibits remarriage after divorce until their spouse is dead. Divorce may be a necessary step to take to bring the sinning spouse to repentance and/or protect the abused spouse. However, the ultimate goal is to restore the marriage and not to get remarried to somebody else.
