Just so everyone knows! These are only plays from THIS decade (so far) - 2010-present. So anything before that wasn't eligible. I had to make some very tough choices when narrowing this list down to 10, and I appreciate the feedback on many plays that just missed the cut. Thanks and enjoy!
Lucky. At least your dreams are crushed immediately. As an Auburn fan, we usually have to wait 2-3 games with our hopes up before our dreams are crushed. "We won the Iron bowl! All we have to do is beat Georgia again and we're in the playoffs! NOPE!" "We beat Georgia and Alabama on miracle plays and won the SEC Championship! All we have to do is beat FSU and we're BCS Champs! NOPE!"
What's so crazy, the two crazy finishes Auburn had against Georgia then Alabama was both 3:30 PM games and both in Jordan Hare stadium and the last two games of the regular season in 2013. To have one game like that a season is crazy, to have your last two games against your top rivals is just unbelievable.
Kane Cooke my boys at LSU are all about either doing REALLY well or REALLY badly. 2011 championship ended us for a while, and it hasn’t been until this year that we’ve been this prepared to go for a big win in the National Championship. Not to mention that for the 1st time in 8 years, we finally defeated Alabama 46-41, making us one of the big season teams in terms of a resume for the playoffs. We defeated a lot of high ranked teams this season, so we’re proud to have improved as much as we have. LSU is coming back, don’t doubt us so quickly. Yes, we’ve been pretty bad, but we’re hitting a big comeback.
Psychoticcherry everytime it looks like Alabama might lose, the opposing team is everyone’s favorite team for the night, especially if they do win. This year, that includes the Clemson Tigers (National championship defeat), the LSU Tigers (my personal favorite team, they won for the first time in 8 years against those bamatards), and the Auburn Tigers (it feels great to be a Tiger fan, because I can associate myself to whatever Tiger team is beating Bama). Looking at it now, I think Nick Saban might shit himself if he sees Tony the Tiger printed on any Frosted Flakes Cereal Box.
The irony of that play is we had nobody back there and then we called a timeout and they stuck him back there. Bama wanted their last second and they got it! And the rest is history
Mason Murphy He died in a drunk driving accident. He was not driving but both he and the driver were well over 0.08. Afterwards, his family started the Lutzie 43 organization in his memory. War Eagle and RIP.
Dr Mason I’m wearing a Lutzenkirchen Jersey right now my high school field is named after him because he went to my high school and we see his parents sometimes and we have a lutzenkirchen day I’m an auburn fan
Great video, although it's absolutely criminal not to have the now deceased (RIP) Rod Bramblett's LEGENDARY call for #1. One of the best calls I've ever heard and I'm an Alabama fan.
Man I was on a cruise ship outta Mobile that day. It was great watching the Alabama shirts and hats disappear. Only time I've ever appreciated South carolina. Go Dawgs.
When you say Carolina, it's pretty much saying North Carolina. That's like when you say USC people think of the Trojans. South Carolina is just South Carolina, or SC.
That is right - and to the ones that think it is luck - hahahahahahahaha. BTW - The officials gave that last TD to UGA in that game - I have photographic proof they never got into the endzone. Now that is luck.
I remember watching that "kick six" and knowing I was watching something special happen. Nick Saban and the Alabama dynasty he built might be a once in a lifetime moment in college football. Unless Clemson keeps it rolling for a few more years, Nick Saban might go down as the GoAT.
It's fun being a Georgia fan but sometimes it sucks when we get screwed by Alabama in the 4th quarter every year and have our quarterback and running backs with bad legs
There will never be another football team I’ll love as much as 2013 Auburn. There was just such a magical feel that I don’t think that can ever be recreated
They were so damn scrappy. The team that shouldn't have been, but was. My wife and I went to the WSU game, the first game of the season, and to just see Nick Marshall even in that game, you could tell it was gonna be a different kind of team. The LSU game hurt, but the last 3 weeks of the season made up for it. War Eagle!
@Lol Loll They were great, but it’s not the same. LSU was insanely dominant and just steamrolled every team they played, Auburn was an underdog a lot and won off of some of the most miraculous late game plays ever
@Lol Loll not really, LSU was number one for half the season and won every game post Bama by at least 17 points, and even the Bama game wasn’t close for most of it. They might be the best team ever, but they weren’t the most exciting
#1 truly never gets old. What an amazing play. Auburn = luckiest team in SEC. Those game ending drives are what it's all about, lol. Always pulling stuff out of their butts. It's awesome. War eagle.
If Auburn was the luckiest team in the SEC they'll have more national championships than LSU.2004,2013,2017 Auburn had opportunities to win national championships through the years but we wasn't favored in the polls in 2004.2013 national championship was actually in the bag until FL state came back with 12 seconds on the clock...2017 Pettyway and Kerryon Johnson couldn't stay healthy throughout the season.Auburn was hands down the best team in the country towards the end of 2017 season.Auburn beat the 2 #1 teams in the country handily before their main guy got injured. That caused them to get beat down by UGA 29-7 in the SEC championship game after putting 40 points on them prior and losing to a soft out of conference UCF team.
I would personally have put the Camback higher if you really think about how amazing coming back from down 24 against an inspired Nick Satan team on the road......their season was stopping Auburn’s championship dreams.
As an auburn fan...I just wanna say RIP to Rod Bramlett. The guy who called the cam back prayer at Jordan Hare and the Kick six. Such a great voice will be missed
I remember 2013 being an FSU fan, and seeing that Kick Six I started shouting, “GO,GO,GO” because since Auburn won that game we were able to get into the number 1 spot plus I didn’t like Alabama either. I think it was after that play that I really got into college football.
First off, GREAT VIDEO. One of the better great moments video on TH-cam, with the music and the commentary. And thank you for not letting the music overwhelm the commentary. 10) In today's college football, Clowney's hit would be called TARGETING. 15 yd penalty - Michigan keeps the ball - and Clowney is thrown out of the game 9) Alabama was actually lucky that Ole Miss didn't hang 30+ points on them that day. Bo Wallace was a beast that day. 8) This game was really the beginning of the end for Butch Jones. Sure, it would take 2 more years for him to get fired, but it was the beginning of a late game pattern of collapses for Butch's Vol teams. Side note: How dumb was Florida to let Will Grier go? 7) AJ McCarron, the week before, had already pulled a game out of his butt vs LSU in the final seconds. The 4th and Goal pass that got intercepted was a direct result of an ineffective Bama run game all day. Not even 4 yds per carry for Bama vs A&M. 6) Once again, Bama's inability to run the ball worth a damn, cost them the game in the 2nd half. And to let Cam come back in that game by him beating them with his ARM, was the biggest letdown. McElroy getting hurt didn't help. Definitely not a great Bama team that season. 5) As a Vols fan, this was easily the widest range of emotions I've ever felt. Tennessee being in a Cover 2 Nickel defense, with 18 seconds to go, and UGA needing a TD to win, was the reason why the corner got beat in the first place. Just horrible defense on that play. What's not shown here, was the unsportsmanlike penalty, which turned into a short kickoff and good return by Tennessee, which eventually set up the miracle hail mary to Jennings. The look of shock on both fan bases after the TDs, were priceless. 4) The coverage was perfect by Auburn. It's just one of those situations you also see in baseball, in which the outfielders are so concentrated on the ball, that they don't see their teammate also going for the ball. Poor Georgia. 3) Honestly, this was one of the most flawless 2 minute drills that I've ever seen. No fluke plays. Just simple execution right down the field, with great clock management. Flawless until the final play. Murray's instincts to clock the football was the correct one. But he had to get a signal from the sideline to run the play. Only problem is that if you run a play, it MUST be a throw into the end zone. Too bad for Georgia . . . again. 2) So a Bama fan must've created this video, because there's no way this should be #2. Yes, these were significant events for Bama winning the championship, but they were no way more memorable than the 8 previous plays shown in the video. That onsides kick was a thing of beauty though. 1) Obvious. Still don't know why Saban elected to kick a super long field goal. Was he that afraid to go to OT?
I may just be a biased Hog fan, but the Joe Adams punt return and Hunter Henry lateral probably deserve to be included. Too bad they didn't happen against Alabama.
I wish Arkansas could beat Alabama every now and then instead of Auburn. But Arkansas along with Tennessee are just two teams that Saban has to coach against every year and got their number
Cade Almond as a Tennessee fan, fuck you lol. I remember being 9 or 10 staying at my friends house (They’re all Auburn fans.) And after the punt return we all went outside and tried to recreate the punt return at like 10:30 Pm lol But I was on the defense so I hit the fuck out of my friend Blake while he was “Returning” 😂 He fumbled and my friend Jaxon took it in for 6, Good Times. 😂😂
What's often forgotten about the "Kick-Six" game is that it was a great game filled with great plays on both sides. It was headed to overtime, but, after replay-review, Bama had one second to try the kick ...
It is always nice to see Auburn representing out here. WAR EAGLE! Also, I gave to add that it is nice to see that a few clips are Alabama losing. On the Kick Six, the Alabama fans were all saying he went out of bounds, but that is just being desperate to not lose to our Kingdom.
It can't even be argued against as top 10. And had far more ramifications (mostly for Ole Miss and Alabama) at the top of the college football ranks than a couple that were shown.
Could not have been edited any better. Thought the music was going to overpower everything at first, and then it fit in perfectly. Every replay was exactly what was wanted. Kudos.
Rohman Clarke I remember in 2013 the exact moment it happened, it was a perfect night with a party we had just left across the street because we thought we were just gonna lose, we went back to our house and one of my parents close friends joined us. I had just started understanding the game of football since I was around 8 at the time. My dad said to me “Colby if Alabama makes this field goal... Auburn is going to lose.”. They kicked it off and my parents and friends lost their minds over what just happened. It gives me chills to this day of what happened that night, just unbelievable. College football is hands down the most exciting sport ever.
broskii2x that bama LSU game was a snorefest. nobody watches football to see nothing but good defense. 7 field goals in a football game and no TDs is not exciting football
some people make quality rankings, some people hate Georgia. That many georgia games should not have made this list. Yet I'm more entertained than ever.
"SOUTH CAROLINA DESERVES TO HAVE IT... AND THEY DO!" Wonder if Vincent ever found his head? What made that play so absolutely DELICIOUS was the refs had totally f'd us the play before. They tried as hard as they could to give that game to Michigan. Clowney said "NOT TODAAAYYYYYY!!!" Damn I miss those days. :(
7:20 I played football in and graduated high school from teeny tiny little Wadley, AL with Terrell Zachary in '06. Dude's one of the nicest, most humble people you'll ever meet.

It can't even be argued against as top 10. And had far more ramifications (mostly for Ole Miss and Alabama) at the top of the college football ranks than a couple that were shown.
Or Joe Adams punt return
Hog fan here. Really expected the see the "Hunter Heave."
FACTS
As a Georgia fan I can tell this is about to be painful
20:27 "Alabama does not have athletes on the field" the disrespect to the O linemen lmao
And that's why Auburn is my favorite team.
Im an auburn fan and I am very satisfied with this video
Could not have been edited any better. Thought the music was going to overpower everything at first, and then it fit in perfectly. Every replay was exactly what was wanted. Kudos.
Alabama: *loses a game*
BREAKING NEWS:
SUICIDE RATE DROPS TO 0%
I'll never forget that Auburn play at the end.
Hunter Henry lateral against Ole Miss?
Heck yeah! Where is that play?!
The Consigliere as an ole miss fan that play still haunts me
That play was so painful to watch in person.
The Alabama bias reeks in this video. That play eaisly #5 or higher
Arkansas won that game that's why it isn't on here.
that #1 spot will never be topped. Auburn with 3 of the most miraculous plays ever in college football. WAR DAMN EAGLE!
Auburn is so underrated as a program. The Tide an the Tigers rule the SEC...big respect to LSU, GA an FL too 💯
Right now it's UGA and Bama, but man it's easy to like Auburn
4:09 truly the loudest place in America when a full house
it’s always Georgia 😭😭😭😭😭😭
theboynathan 11 always Georgia that gets screwed🤦♂️
@gbowes100 Bro I'm sorry but that's total bullshit 😂
these highlights just showed me that 90% of every big moment in the SEC revolves around Alabama one way or another
Eugene Williams were just that good😬
Hearing Rod Bramblett call Philip Lutzenkirchen's TD was bitter-sweet. RIP Rod and Philip...
As an auburn fan and Tennessee those brought so much joy
Thank you for noticing south Carolina gamecocks. for that im subscribing and notifications on
What about Arkansas versus Tennessee from 2011? Joe Adams made 8 Volunteers miss on a punt return for a touchdown.
Tennessee coming back from down 21-3 at halftime to beat Florida 38-28.
The best part of videos like this is the variety of "WTF just happened" faces from the fans on the wrong end of miracle plays.
Best football video I've seen in a long time! Kudos to you! Very well done.
go Vols and good job on the video
cosmic Pro go vols! They should've included our win vs gators in 2016 😏😏😏😏
Crs 16 Quite a moment to finally beat a team after 11 straight
CHRISTIAN HELLING gator fans r just salty, they still wanna live in the past
Nathan Morris I say we meet back here after the game so we can live in the present?
Should have included the Vols touchdown prior to the Georgia Hail Mary.
You HAVE to have the Gamecocks taking out number one, defending NC Alabama in 2010. Cmon man!
Or the year we beat #4 Ole Miss... The game that gave birth to the South Carolina Sandstorm Tradition. God bless Stephen Garcia.
lsu alabama 9-6 in ot?
EDIT: THANK YOU FOR THE LIKES AND REPLIES
I still remember that game, watching it. that was a defensive battle.
the most boring game ever
850wareagle what are you talking about
broskii2x that bama LSU game was a snorefest. nobody watches football to see nothing but good defense. 7 field goals in a football game and no TDs is not exciting football
850wareagle you don't appreciate true football
Best conference. No question about it.
20:23 if that doesnt give you chills i dont know what does.
You know Alabama is on another level when it's considered a highlight moment to even beat us lol
some people make quality rankings, some people hate Georgia. That many georgia games should not have made this list. Yet I'm more entertained than ever.
Clowney’s hit is still my favorite hit of all time. He came off that line so damn fast that back had no damn chance in the world!
Being in 2019 that kick six is still amazing, and that same season auburn touchdown against Georgia was amazing to see too
I was excited about this video but it was just a compilation of my dawgs losing. I’m sad now.
It’s alright we gonna win this year
“10 years ago Brian Ortega was given a choice”
-Modelo
There something about UGA being ranked 25 and playing against other SEC teams...
Your right
Every time I see that jar hit I get chills and it’s even better being an SC fan
Nothing will ever beat the kick six!
ARKANSAS LATERAL VS OLE MISS?
Indeed. Literally gave the sec to bama
Thank yoooooouuuuii
Yeah for real
Ikr they should've tooken some of those georgia stuff
That's why Auburn is called the Cardiac Cats. Dominated this list
Watching this feels good as an auburn fan. WAR EAGLE
Boo roll tidee
Go polish your outback bowl trophy, oh wait......
I love sec football. Being a vol fan is tough but man that hail Mary moment was great. We all lost our minds
Thank you Modelo for this great video
#19 South Carolina beating #1 Alabama (2010)
As a Vol fan, I’ll never forget the Dobbs to Jennings Hail Mary in 2016 and the Kick Six in 2013 which I watched both live
As a Vol fan, you should refer to that hail mary as the Dobbnail Boot. Go Vols!
where is the Vols second half comeback against Florida to end their longest losing streak?
Right behind the 2017 Hail Mary that started their next losing streak.
@@gregmead2967 lol
@@gregmead2967 yeah for real, we already need an updated video because the SEC is so crazy lol
7:20 I played football in and graduated high school from teeny tiny little Wadley, AL with Terrell Zachary in '06. Dude's one of the nicest, most humble people you'll ever meet.
very nice.. I'm ND Irish and FSU *acc* but this was a well done video #1 is my favorite love it ~ ty for this
