For OHs if you ever upgrade I recommend the Rode M5 pair! Two small diaphragm condenser stereo pair, you could prolly find used for like $150. Got a pair, work fantastic for lots of stuff, even great for crowd mics. Great sensitivity and detail.

Josh , you should definitely check the Paiste PST7 , they’re not so expensive and sound pretty good , they come in 3 differently weights and the heavys are great for metal , that S series you bought is also good!
All the superstar sets are awesome, love the superstar classic! I think of buying one myself! Would love if you did a cover of Freedom by RATM or Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin. You are the best! Cheers!
For cymbal recommendations, Meinl cymbals, for what you, I'd go with Meinl Classic Custom and Extreme Metal. Plus in all honesty, they'd complent your kit and they'd just sound better.

Dude new kit is fucking sweet! For the kick p3 is killer. Next head you get try the emad2 they dont dissapoint. They also give somewhat of a clicky sound which is cool. As for the patch go with the remo falam patch very durable and adds attack. Aquarian one is like paper. I work at GC so if you need something let me know!

Your Toms 10 & 12 do not look like 10X7 '' & 12x8 '' like Hyper-Drive but more 10x8'' & 12x10'' and the Superstar Classic Maple are out this year. In 2016, the Superstars came back in Birch and with the same not deep Toms. You have placed a special order ??? Always a pleasure to watch your covers often better than the original Like me, you adjusted your Hi-Hat in Lars' way with a small space between the two cymbals. I have a question for you: do you know how to do with a Drop Clutch ???. I had to use Tama's standard support. I have a booth HH95 Lever Glide, Sabian AA Medium (medium top/heavy bottom) 14'' Hi-Hat and Pearl Drop Clutch for info. I love having a sustain in Hi-Hat sound. Thanks in advance.
You have almost the same studio drum kit as Lars for the Load & Reload albums (10x8''-12x10'', 14x14''f, 16x16''f) but he had Starclassic for his Toms & Floors and his 24x16 '' Gretsch USA Maple Custom Bass Drum. But your shells are Maple and a same specs : 6 plys, 5mm for the Toms & Floors + 8plys, 7mm thick for the Bass Drum...
Correct. I had a drop clutch a long time ago but removed it because it added excessive weight. I now just open the hat enough to sizzle when left alone.
Hello and thank you for answering me so quickly. I understand. I also thought of the screw under the Hi-Hat to give a necessary angle to sizzle a little but the cymbals are off and it does not give the desired effect. So I put my standard Hi-Hat Clutch Tama because I practically have both feet on my bass drum pedals and I do not really use the Hi-Hat pedal. In any case, I do not know how Lars was able to do it with a Drop-Clutch ?.. Thank you again and continue covers. They are awesome. JR. PS: Was I right for the size of your Toms 10 '' & 12 ''? I use Yamaha because that’s what my parents chose out for me but when I have to get another kit I will maybe try out a Tama
I have the same kit, for the snare I highly recommend the Remo P77 or a controlled sound. Best two heads I've used on that maple snare!
Remo black x is best, because it sounds nice, looks good and is durable

My toms are 10x9, 12x10 and 14x14 inch floor tom. I have world's most deepest toms
