If listening to ghost stories draws them to you I should be the most haunted person in the world. I listen to them while driving, at work, working out, at home, going to bed, and sometimes I’ll wake up to them playing from TH-cam autoplay. But, no ghost experiences have happened to me. Maybe they’re intimidated by me 😎

@@TheTapeLibraryYou could do a military history ghost story episode. I have listened to some on other channels. There was one where the announcer interviewed a special ops personnel. The SpecOps guy was so nervous he gave the interview over special router and wouldn’t give geolocation details for fear of consequences. You could really hear the fear and confusion about what they were told about the operation. Worse than Rendlesham forest- much; some time slippage, nda’s signed, real top secret stuff 😮

@@ramseydoon8277 I spent 18 months at Fort Irwin starting in 1999. The bathroom is something that anyone who has served there for any length of time has heard about. I Lived in base housing, The Villages at Fort Irwin, with my wife and and son who was 11 when we moved in. All three for us felt very uneasy there. Unlocked doors locking themselves, and visa versa, even my neighbors would hear and see things in their units. We would hear footsteps day and night in the kitchen, along with the occasional shadows that would sometimes accompany the footsteps.. Even those who don't believe in the paranormal admit that Fort Irwin is a creepy place at night. I just always felt negative energy on the whole base.

I am loving this channel so much - thank you!. I usually pop on my wireless headphones and do the dreaded ironing while listening. I am American but live in the UK these past 15 years as my husband is British. One creepy experience that stands out to me is when we first got married. I was working overseas during our first year of marriage. Before I left, we rented out a granny flat (for a very cheap rate) on the grounds of a 12th century Monk house (which shows up in the Domesday book). We received cheap rental rate as we helped an elderly couple who lived in the main house by looking after it as they resided in Australia during the winter months. They left for Australia on the day we moved in and after they showed us around and what to do to look after the old house. The first night there, we retired to the granny flat (a separate house from the main house) and as we settled in for sleep the power went out in our flat. My husband and I shrugged our shoulders and went to sleep as it was late and we assumed it was likely a fuse blown. But that would have to be investigated from the main house. Neither one of us wanted to go in there this late at night. In the morning my husband unlocked the door to the main house. It turns out there was a main switch for the granny flat. Someone had switched it to the off position late the night before. However, no one should’ve been in the house. There were many creepy happenings in the home itself. Taps being on when we came in to check on it, a light having switched itself on in the night. There was a cleaning lady that would come every so often and she brought her dog along. She was never happy to go in the home alone. Her dog was her guardian. Keep up with the fantastic content.

The end comment about giving life to the horrors in the corners reminds me of what my mom always says. "The devil is at your shoulder" basically her saying the more you look into it, the worse it's going to get. Even though our family has had so many different paranormal experiences going back generations. My mom's advice is to accept it exists but don't give it control by investing into searching it out.

I’ve worked in a hospital and was actually responsible for many tasks for departments including bagging and tagging the dead for the morgue to pick up. I’ve never had any spooky encounters. There was even an abandoned part of the hospital used for storage I’d pass through to get to the other side, I was never spooked or scared or had an encounter but then again I didn’t listen to ghost stories back then.

I am messianic and have given up drinking, smoking cigarettes, smoking weed, no tv and no secular music and just changing the way I live over the past 5 years.
I am a firm believer that you reap what you sow, you are what you eat, and darkness can be consuming. However, since a young age I have been intrigued by death, true crime (my father was a police sergeant), and the paranormal. But, to me, the paranormal is beyond things I am meant to understand so I may indulge, I do not seek, and I allow my faith to be stronger than fear. I understand there are things in this world that I’m not meant to understand or question.
I suffer from ptsd, crippling anxiety, along with severe adhd and other getting old ailments. I just don’t allow the darkness of these ailments to take over.

It’s not the attention itself that gets the activity going. It’s the energy given off by the target. Emotion is the best profit when it comes to energy. Low effort = big rewards. What’s the easiest emotion that gives off the most energy? Fear, Anger, Sorrow. The most common place emotions experienced by those in a haunted place. The more energy they get, the more they can manifest. The more they manifest - the more energy they get back. The more they manifest = more they’re here on this plane of existence again among the living. How many haunted places have people whose lives were unjustly cut short? Those who took their own lives? Those with a lot to lose? Those with family they wish to see one last time?

13:38 Medical hospital haunting: yes, I worked at an old hospital in a notoriously haunted part of East Texas. It was Marshall Regional in Marshall, TX. On the top floor, equipment would go rolling across the floors. File drawers would open. Not all in a destructive manner, but more like a normal working day/night- except with no staff.
We only kept unused equipment and some medical records up there. Only certain male nurse aids would even go up there. You could watch the activity on CCTV. It was treated like common knowledge. I thought I had entered the Twilight Zone when I first started there. But everyone was so casual about it, it became easy to forget- until you needed to find a male tech who would go up there and get a stretcher or wheelchair or something. It was freezing cold up there too, even in the scalding hot East Texas summers.
Oh yeah, and we disposed of (incinerated) our “medical waste” (body parts) on site.
I learned to wear a hat to work when coming into the hospital at 7pm on Fridays because of the falling ash. Everyone blamed the smell on the local clay pits and pottery warehouse. I didn’t believe it one bit after I figured out what it was.
Things don’t change much in some rural parts of the country, “we’ve always done it this way.”😮

One of the most spectacular and strange experiences I ever had was in the Mojave Desert but it wasn’t ghostly. I was driving straight across to Lake Havasu. About
halfway across I glanced outside my driver’s side window and saw a large metallic triangle just hanging in the air. No movement, no sound, not frightening. I kept on driving and glancing out from time to time. It was just hanging there. Then I glanced out one last time and it was gone.

One night shortly after my mom died everyone of my cats were in the kitchen looking out the window and even though not all of them could fit on the sill they were still looking in the same direction outside. I went outside and immediately felt like everything was off. I noticed someone peeking from behind the power pole at the street. I shined my flashlight and said "hello". They ducked back behind the pole and when I got closer they peeked from behind the maple tree that's 30 ft from the pole.

I know the base in California that the OP is talking about, I don't know of the specific bathroom in the story butl it's a military base and if this kind of nonsense was happening on a regular basis at the very least, that entire area on the outside would be closely monitored by cameras 24/7 at all entrances and exits. The fact that that was not even mentioned is highly suspicious.

Nobody, and I repeat, nobody in the Army would refer to the National Guard as the "National Guards" or "the guards." This is a common, and stupid, civilian mistake.
ETA: This would be the same as referring to the US Army as "the armies." People in the guard are soldiers or guardsmen, not "guards." And guard units from many states are still "the guard." For you trekkies, it's like the Borg. 😂
