    I also recommend dailing down the punch setting with the esc programmer because my latrax Teton 4x4 with the same brushless setup eats diffs & craps glitter on every run

    Happy to know I'm not the only one who had a difficult time filling the Losi shocks. If there's a trick to it, I'd like to know.

      Yeah. I’m got a fresh set of all 4 from a friend and idk they are setup really nice from the factory. Incredibly smooth and excellent damping and spring rate. I tried my best to replicate that with the hot racing shocks but i couldn’t. Maybe with more experience maybe but Yeah if i ever find a trick to filling the losi shocks then I’ll make a video

    You need stiffer shock fluid to get the stock shocks to bounce normally. stock it’s set very soft

    Sweet, I was thinking of switching out the brushless with the same castle setup you have if it would make a real improvement. Waiting for speed runs thanks for the video

      I have the stock gearing from the original brushless and i run mostly 3s now. Incredibly bullet proof. I run back fo back to back to back 3s and no heat issues just at opersting temp. Now I usually drive in the afternoon when its a coolish California temp to be outside. Id be more cautious if I was driving in the 90 degree heat like maybe 5 minute break in between packs

      @@therealteja I use the 0808 4100KV with 3S in my Losi Mini B It is very nice but i have many issues with the orginal differntial ballbearings and the ballbearings on the rear tires.

      @@onkelleuchte2616 i currently run hot racing spool diff in my mini t as i have its suspension and chassis tuned more for off road chassis balance. The mip diff. I had it setup really well for a short bit of time but i guess i didnt do something correctly and the diff failed. I was super careful with my replacement but it also failed but hot racing no issue after i fixed slipper clutch by replacing slipper pads

    You had a stock mini T brushless 6000kv before? Or the brushed version? The brushless is pretty quick. I didn't think it would be worth upgrading over stock. I don't really like the built in speed controller though. Mine failed and they're $80 plus shipping...

    • @therealteja
      @therealteja  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I run the hot racing motor mount which is basically for stock size motor. The mamba 0808 fits it. U could put a “big block” motor mount but u have to consider the rest of the chassis balance. A bigger motor will rear bias the weight. In later vids i show weights i added below the servo and battery tray and hot racing brass front pivot block. This chassis the fun comes from tuning it to handle big power

    Did the losi shocks come pre filled with oil?

    • @therealteja
      @therealteja  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The losi ones do but they feel flat and very little. The Hot racing ones do not come with oil. I run 32 weight in the rears with softer losi springs instead of the blue HR springs because those are too stiff. The Hr shocks are super super super easy to fill with oil

    • @therealteja
      @therealteja  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video stock gearbox. I think i had some mip stuff in here. Currently mysetup is an mip steel input shaft (attaches spur gear) and a hot racing spool differential. Stock diff at any time is one wheel drive because its an open diff. Feel free to check out my other upgrade vids and running vids! Feedback is always great

      You can use the stock receiver. In later videos i am using a dumbrc radio with x6fg receiver that has a built in gyro. I have added weights and keep the gyro running at 15% so i can actually put power down in corners with 3s
