This was introduced to me on another channel as the rose stitch. That's all I knew. Now I know the proper name. This is a go to stitch for me. It's so lovely and easy to do. In fact, I made a scarf for my daughter in these two colors.
I have been using this stitch for hats, baby bonnets, blankets etc.. it is amazing In all yarn sizes . Thank you for video, I didn’t know what this stitch was called .
I'm making a scarf with this pattern. Short rows, alternating dark and light blue every 2 rows. I'm using sport weight with 8 mm hook, and I like how it's turning out.
I used this pattern to make my daughter a blanket. I used a smaller hook so it would have smaller holes throughout, and it turned out so soft, so squishy, and she loves it! Thank you for a great pattern!
I've viewed this twice now. I like it very much. The pattern looks very feminine. Perfect for my scarf this winter here in Salt Lake. Now might you suggest for me a more masculine stitch for a Very, very warm scarf for all day use in Montana. For a construction worker. I imagine a hat to wear with it. Please reply Tamara. I know you're busy but I trust your judgement 100%. Thx dear girl.
Wow this is a really pretty pattern❤ definitely going to add this one to my list of projects! This would look beautiful as a bed spread😌. Thanks for sharing! Luv yah💕
Please help! I made a scarf like yours for my granddaughter. Having problems adding sc on the starting chain side. Its just huge holes. What can I do? URGENT
Hi Bonnie! In this situation, I would try to pick up not only the unused loop from the chain, but one of the loops at the bottom of the st worked into the ch. Be consistent, and pick up the same "loop" in each st, and then in the chs without loops, try working into the ch itself, and try working into the "ch sp" and see which gives you the better results! Good luck!
I don't even know how to explain this but I will try - I am about 10" into this project and on one row everything matches...I turn and somewhere along this next line I am either short a stitch or there is an extra stitch...how can this be when it matches in a row going one way but not the other????
If I wanted to use a beautiful Mandala yarn, do you think it would look good with this pattern. I really like this pattern and want to use what I have im my stash. Thank you for your tutorials, they are very helpful, especially the stitch marker at the beginning and end of each row.
What size of hook in mm did you use and what sort of wool? I was thinking of making a blanket with this beautiful stitch using two different colours at the same time that way making the wool thicker and using a 10mm hook. You're very gifted indeed. What do you think of me doing that? Ann Marie Murphy ( From Ireland )
I'm sitting here laughing at myself,,,because I get distracted by that hook,,,,because if its a furls,,,,,,I want one so bad, I guess I should just go ahead and but one,,,,,but I have trouble justifying the price,,,,,but I love them,,,,are they good to crochet with???? I have not heard any reviews on girl hooks???? Plus I was confused about this stitch ,,,because on so many channels they make up a stitch and give it a name then if your reading a pattern its easy to get confused about ,,,,the bobble, bumpy, puffy, popcorn, cobble,, puff, bean, ECT ECT,,,,is there an official name for each of these bumpy puffy bobble popcorn stitches???????
I like to crochet with them, but I acknowledge they aren't for everyone. Cobblestone stitch was what I saw this called in a stitch dictionary - there's no bobble or popcorn or cluster used in this stitch pattern. Bobbles are usually several dc sts started in the same st and all finished with one yo and pull through. A cluster is usually a dc2tog worked into the same st, but can vary. A puff stitch is several hdc sts started in the same st with one yo and pull through to finish. And a popcorn is several dc sts worked into the same st, then the hook is removed from the last, inserted into the first, re-inserted in the active loop, and the active loop is pulled through the top of the first dc. Small variations can be made to create new stitch patterns, but those are the basics.

Ann Marie Murphy ( From Ireland )
Ann Marie Murphy The wool is Lion Brand Touch of Alpaca (90/10 blend). I didn’t catch which size hook.
I have made many blankets with this stitch. Bernal blanket yarn . With a 9- 10 mm hook . Depends on your tension. .
HAPPY NEW YEAR TAMARA

le crochetage est tellement lache , que le résultat ne resemble pas à l ouvrage que vous montrez
Nice, but not explained well.
