Pipe band playing National Anthem of Pakistan

In this video you will watch how a drum major gets his band ready to playing. Pakistani National anthem and general salute is played by band. Moreover, we will witness how a band plays music while marching and it changes to different military tunes. It also displays the position of pipers and drummers in band while it is standing and marching.

One of the better pipe bands I’ve listened to from the sub continent. Do not judge the drill by British drill standards. This isn’t the British army. Even the Europeans can’t get it right. Quite enjoyed listening to this band.

I remember the Pakistani army band playing this anthem on bagpipes in my school, in besieged Bosnia. I was just a kid and we lived surrounded and attacked by Serbian army. Pakistani UN base was near my hometown, so one day they sent their band to play for us in school, and brought food and drinks for everyone. This was in 1993, the worst year to live in Bosnia and food was scarce, especially sweet beverages. Even though I was only 7 years old, I remember that day as if it was yesterday. One day of absolute peace in my mind from that horrible time.
