I've built 3 personal pcs. all antec, multiple for friends also, they even have one that looks like nzxt h9 that my current system is going in. just dont use the stock fans. even their upgraded fans seem to only have 2 modes, slow and fast.
One of the best case builder like 10-15 years ago. Then they kind of disappeared a bit after that, but the cases they have been putting out are recently are impressive to me.
Don't have an antec case, but bought antec case fans a few months back for my first PC build and they've served really well, no issues at all. They really are awesome
I bought this case about a month ago, it's such a nice case. I did an atx build with top 360. If building in this, you need to run cpu power before mounting motherboard. May have to remove or at least unscrew a bottom fan or two to do the front panel, fans, rgb, etc. Honestly, it's my favourite case I've built my pc in.
Thank you SO much for showing the AIO fitting at the top. I've picked up the exact same AIO and it took a lot of pain to get in to my current case so I've been looking for something at a good price exactly like this.
Hi Greg, what do you like doing the best? Doing a Flip or Flop or building a PC? When building a PC, you can connect the MB power cables before mounting the MB in the case. Doing this lets you connect the top left MB power cables and route them through the PC case before installing the MB. This is a suggestion, and your mileage may vary.
This is a sharp and aesthetic looking PC case. It is the right height for me. I have visions of a tall case that can be accidently toppled over. What I would prefer is a case with a horizontal mounted motherboard which would allow for a monstrous air cooler and heavy/large video card to be fitted without placing any gravity strain on any component but especially the motherboard. Yes, I am fairly OCD as well.
I always wanted the P182 for the old days of water cooling with a mod to put the rad at the top. I couldn't afford it back then but keep tjinking of getting one for a retro build!! Oh, and another great video Greg 🎉
Nifty lil case, well worth the cost for the features. The fans need adjusting however, that bottom intake fan on the case floor up front needs to taken out as it will cause vortex issues with the lower fan on the side panel. Great build and great lil case.
Looks great. Clean looking. Nice case actually, and the reverse fans are a nice touch. I've built so many PCs over the years, I always hook up the motherboard cpu power before installing an aio. Lol I've been down that road more than once.
Absolutely beautiful build. really love Antec cases and their other products. Would really love to one day have a btf build like that. but then again, i am very happy with my Antec Performance 1 case and all the hardware in it :D Looking forward to the next video :)
I just finished my build a few weeks ago in an antec c8 constellation. Absolutely love the case. Quality is through the roof, but beware with the quality comes weight. My build with a rtx 3090 and a 360 aio weighs over 45lbs
Yup. The C8 is on my wishlist too. It's 23 lbs to ship, however. Given that the courier to my country charges by weight, it will actually cost 12% MORE than the selling price to ship it to me. Sigh. Amazing case and way cheaper at $77 than the C5 (just without the ARGB fans) but so darned heavy! I'm gonna bite the bullet and ship it soon.
@@Darren_Martin I got mine with a discount at the time and it was basically $114 shipped from Amazon with taxes. It is a big boy! But that just means more room for activities. I really love the removable hdd and ssd cages in the back. There is a cage for 2 ssd's up top and another identical at the bottom of the case. Then below where the power supply mounts there is a hdd cage that holds 2 or 3 hdd's. I don't run any Spinny disks so. I took it out and that opened up a ton of space. I mounted my 360 aio vertically so it sucks in fresh are through the separated chamber, however I eventually plan to model and print some ducting that seals the back mes panel directly to the back of my radiator for maximum air flow channeling. I may even make some filler panels to seal around the bottom fans since with 3 120mm fans there are gaps between them.
@@Darren_Martinwait c8 is less expensive than c5 in your region? That's awesome because in my region c5 is more cheaper and considering I don't need to extra fans for it,i think c5 would be a better choice for me.
Will it be enough to give up my 14-year-old Antec P183...not this time, but good to see Antec making a comeback. I hope that they kept the Antec quality of old. My original Antec tri-cool fans are still spinning after 71,000 hrs.
Ooo Antec cases are so good, best build quality out of everything I had so far (Deepcool, Silverstone, some older Corsairs). I'm still rocking the P101, an absolute wardrobe but does everything I need perfectly. Once I need less hard drives and more bling, I'll be sure to consider this :)
i'm happy for Antec. i love that they have been making a comeback & offering great quality at the right price. but my god when will the fishtank era give wa U.U
Greg is there any chance of listing prices for more than just the case in builds like this? maybe a breakdown of the total cost of the build broken down by components?
I just bought this case. It’s too small to be an easy build, it’s just not an easy build. Motherboard pins at the bottom have absolutely no space and almost slip under the bottom fans. Wires from the top such as cpu power also have no space and need to slip under the top fans - it’s a real pain. I needed to remove the bottom fans to install the wires. You’ll be happier with a larger case. That being said, I can feel those fans working, which is nice.
It’s project btf. It’s a project from ASU’s where they get rid of cables so as part of this the card gets power from a special port near the PCI’s port.
I have to disagree with the "no heat will build up in here" as the glass side is right up against the venting region of the GPU which is known to get hot under heavy usage. It would be better with a mesh side panel, and while I'm "nitpicking" the AIO pump on the CPU is mounted incorrectly with the I/O pointed down which will allow air to become trapped inside and cause cavitation. If you doubt me, test it during a heavy gaming session with HWI open also to monitor temps.
The proximity to glass on the side isn't a big deal, and no, heat won't build up there. We've three fans literally just below that actively force air upward. Combine that with fresh air intakes along the side of the motherboard tray and exhausts up top and you'll have nothing to worry about. I think folks look too far into 1-2 degree Celsius differences nowadays. This is _far_ from a hotbox :-)
Oh, you should have use the RGB version of Arctic 360 AIO. Maybe not the Arctic one. Arctic radiator is thicker than other brands, which may interfere the top portion of the motherboard. Anyway, nice case!
Wow thank you for the info bro it really help me. I'm about to buy a traditional motherboard and I'm buying also the some liquid cooler. Because of this I didn't buy the wrong motherboard. I will just wait for the project zero black version. But are they making project zero black version?
i want to see case manufacturers make matx cases but with the idea of making things smaller. i hate these recent cases that are super wide. i want a small footprint but not have to resort to itx. it is really rare.
So with an artic 360mm cooler and an atx board your not able to get to the connections on top? Is it beacuse the artic is so thick or does that apply to all liquid coolers? And can't you move down the mobo a bit further down perhaps?
Greg have you tried using an ATX mobo in this? Would the bottom fans conflict with front panel connectors? Ideally id want the C8 ARGB but it's not available in my country only the regular c8 (without any fans) and everyone knows ARGB gives more FPS....
It's nice to see Antec making a comeback.
Seriously, kind of has me hoping for an updated Antec 1200, my favorite case from them. =\
I've built 3 personal pcs. all antec, multiple for friends also, they even have one that looks like nzxt h9 that my current system is going in. just dont use the stock fans. even their upgraded fans seem to only have 2 modes, slow and fast.
@@Ryathael Still have an Antec One :D

To this day i miss my old antec 900 case. I wish they would just relaunch that lol
that Arctic AIO look so nice, its now on my wishlist
Don't have an antec case, but bought antec case fans a few months back for my first PC build and they've served really well, no issues at all. They really are awesome
Every time I watch a pc build from any content creator I am reminded that I’m being called broke in a nice way
Same FOMO eats at my soul.
FACTS lol. Another review of this made a $3,000+ system in this $130 case....ya I can't afford that
It's nice to see the back connector idea finally gaining momentum. Reverse flow fans too.
Pretty sure holding the RGB button down is how you switch between controlling the RGB with the button or whatever software you might use.
Yeah, every case is different when it comes to this. Wasn't sure. Some just reset the color cycle.
I bought the performance ft1 and its awesome. Great case for a great cost with all the fans needed.

I have been looking at getting me a 300something mm fan in my system! Build looks great!
I still have a working Antec power supply from the 90s. They have always built what I consider the best made PS. Nice looking case.
Great looking built, great job Greg.
I see this build in my near future! Thanks Greg and Antec

My sister has this same Antec case but she got the all white version and it looks really amazing. She nearly had $3000 worth of parts built in it
Sweet build Greg. Antec cases of late are sooo cool.
It feels like Greg has been putting out a lot of content lately. I dig it.
Excellent case Greg and your cable management is so clean.
Glad to see antec making a comeback o worked hard recently to source an old sonata 3 for my xp rig
Nice to see Greg repping the spanish national team
I always wanted the P182 for the old days of water cooling with a mod to put the rad at the top.
I couldn't afford it back then but keep tjinking of getting one for a retro build!!
Oh, and another great video Greg 🎉
I wish I was closer to Orlando man I was having some issues with my pc but I did get some help from the peeps in the discord so shoutout to them!
Nice build Greg. Also for Antec case ARGB controllers when you hold down the button it sets it to let the Mobo control the lights.
I believe when you hold down the button for LED it syncs it to the motherboard aRGB so you can control it from the motherboard settings
Greg's done it again! Another great video!
This is hands down one of the cleanest awesome builds you have built 👍👍👍
Wow, thanks!
Great build. Beautiful Case
Glad you like it! Thanks!
A surprisingly nice case from Antec. Nice to see.
I love my basic 5 pack of antec fans. I have them in three different builds. So afforable, quite and good amount of air.
I got a antec case and love it got it on sale for 60 bucks it's built pretty premium for that price
Antec already made an amazing return with the antec performance 1 ft. It's nice to see them making good cases again.
very impressive case for the price it's perfect Greg!
My PC is built in the Antec VSK3000 Elite, I can say it's a really amazing case.
Ah so clean, great build Greg!
I would love a case like this with solid front and side panels
This case is so rad! I do wish Antec would offer it without the fans, for someone that would prefer a different fan setup.
I don't know why, but that it's available in my local store. It costs $60 less than the fans version. It's 58 USD the C5 non-fan version.
I also wouldn't have to worry about not reaching connections behind the heat exchanger... You just connect them before installing the cooling loop...
Sweet build, I'm sure it's nice and quiet with all those fans
Looks heavily "inspired" by the O11Dynamic. Still looks good!
You know what I really like this case
Nifty lil case, well worth the cost for the features. The fans need adjusting however, that bottom intake fan on the case floor up front needs to taken out as it will cause vortex issues with the lower fan on the side panel.
Great build and great lil case.
Antec looks getting so muc better
Great looking build Greg. How did you manage zero gpu sagging?
thx for this, ive been looking a video for cable management for this case
Thanks for watching!
The rig dreams are made of, yet another great build Greg.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful case. I would probably replace the fans with some BeQuiet Light wings for silence
These fans are plenty quiet. IMO not worth tossing out 7 perfectly viable fans for models that may only be a few dB quieter (especially for the cost).
Looks great. Clean looking. Nice case actually, and the reverse fans are a nice touch.
I've built so many PCs over the years, I always hook up the motherboard cpu power before installing an aio.
Lol I've been down that road more than once.
I kinda like that lower profile look and of course the connections on the back of the mobo help a lot...overall great looking pc 👍
I loved Antec's Cases in the earlier days, this case is only $20 less than the Lian Li 011, so just depends on what you are looking for.
Absolutely beautiful build. really love Antec cases and their other products.
Would really love to one day have a btf build like that. but then again, i am very happy with my Antec Performance 1 case and all the hardware in it :D

That's a great price for such a case, i wish Antec was more available in the Middle East they make really good cases with a reasonable price

Can't please everyone hahah. There is too much in the way of AIO support in here to neglect using one, IMO.
Such a nice build
Awesome build, great case.

Thanks for the support!
Wow very nice and there are fans included unlike the c8.
ive always like antec case very underrated
Nice looking case!
this is legit the dteam build , i dont like aios so that will change out but so good and clean
There's no dust cover for the side intakes? Wouldn't that dump a lot of dust into the case?
The top exhaust prob doesn't need a dust cover as well
The Arctic logo is also quite similar to the Antec logo, it's the little things.

Love Antec cases
They must of spaced that usb c for the steelseries wireless headset dongle ? Its oddly wide.
If Antec produce such a case at that price highlights the extent that we get ripped off for cases.
FINALLY….. a pc case that has the type c port just close enough to connect my bluetooth headphone dongle without getting in the way of my other usbs 😭
Good Lord this build looks so darn good😍 I wish this was a giveaway!
