  • This is the 44th video produced in the ‘Just in Case…’ mini-series sponsored by Quality and Equality. In this video we are joined by Dr John J. Scherer, SLC Founder & President of Schere Leadership Center. John is an experienced and talented leadership and organization development expert, working wih organizations all over the world on their change initiatives.
He is the creator of hundreds of articles and online media, including The Scherer Leadership Report, and is author of Work and the Human Spirit (1993), Five Questions that Change Everything (2008) and Facing the Tiger: Unleashing the Human Spirit at Work (2020). A prodigious writer, his work has been translated into 15 languages.
Living and working from a base in Warsaw, Poland, he is known around the world for his ability to connect with leaders and front-line staff in bringing about profound individual breakthroughs and workplace-wide transformations. A father of four ‘wonderfully grown and gifted artistic’ children, he runs, does yoga and loves to read a good spy novel.
Today, John delivers an incredibly practical and insightful presentation on the topic that has been dear and near to him for many years. It’s about Power.
Where does it come from? What are the sources of power that we have as OD consultants? And which ones of those sources do we want to have and use.
John has an amazing ability to explain in simple words what may seem difficult.
John will help you realize what are the main sources of power and you may be astonished where the power can come from. You have a power that will make you go through all the situations and difficulties in your life, but you need to be aware of it. John presents how we unconsciously rank other people.
