I love toadette. the first time I ever saw her was in online mario kart wii. I had to unlock her and started maining her immediately! I like that when she's doing tricks and stuff, some of her voice lines sound like she's cursing lol. I love her. I have a toadette plushie even. also love to see the anime discussion, be careful of attack on titan spoilers. there is sooo much stuff that could be spoiled. i'm also studying japanese and it was fun to try and read the level name with ryu. I made the same mistake of thinking the "chi" was a "sa". also confusing since there is a "ra" that is also similar to them. a good way I've come to remember is chi looks like a 5.
Ryu the best way to watch Dragon Ball Super is to watch the movie-versions of the early arcs, instead of the episode versions. They're way faster paced and have better animation too. The reason those arcs feel slow is because they're basically stretching a 1.5 hour movie over the course of like 12+ episodes. So they add filler scenes to drag it out. Dragon Ball Super is entertaining, and gets really damn good at certain points, especially with the Broly and Super Hero movies. Just goes to show it's still getting even better.
@@ryushorts Yeah the movie versions of those sagas came out before the TV versions and had higher budgets+better animation studios working on them. So even the fight scenes visually look better. Almost everyone agrees the movies are the way to go. There are plenty of guides a quick Google search away telling you which episodes to skip and which movies to watch instead. Most of the early sagas have the movie option, such as "Ressurrection F" which is where Freiza's minions used the Dragon Balls to revive him and finally freed him from his version of hell(Freiza's hell is literally a beautiful field with sunshine, rainbows, happiness, and cute singing stuffed animals lmao... I'm not making that up) They've been on hiatus for ages when it comes to making TV episodes. The last 2 pieces of video content we've got were the Broly movie and the Super Hero movie, both were fucking amazing though. The Broly movie is widely considered the best Dragon Ball movie ever, and the most amazing animation Dragon Ball has ever had. They've really taken the series to a new level over the years in how amazing they can make fight scenes look. Aside from that, the manga is much farther along than the show at this point so we're all waiting for them to start releasing new TV episodes to finally catch up the TV show for the manga. But now is a great time to start watching and gradually catch up. I think the show is worth the time investment. It has a much more comedic element to it than DBZ. There are some plot holes/armor moments, but whatever. It's just fun entertainment. Best if not taken too serious.
People didn't answer why Toadette was the best., cause the answer is not family friendly. It's common knowledge Toadette is a strong supporter of...using the backdoor shall we say.
Ryu my man, if you take a sit down for Netflixing the Castlevania Anime, the entire series was very well done and the sequel is starting up nicely. Overall a good view! 😊
"Chinese" takeout foods have largely been created in America. When people say " Chinese food" thats what they mean. They don't mean " Food styles from mainland China" So, Chinese food is American food. So is Pizza.
Ryu you gotta better familiarize yourself with how good American cuisine is. Yeah fast food like Burgers and Hot Dogs are what American food is stereotyped as. But there's so much more. Southern BBQ, soul food/comfort foods, cajun food, NY/Chicago/Detroit style pizza, Tex-Mex, American steakhouses, American diner-style breakfast, so many different desserts, etc etc. Not even including all the specialties each state has. People really sleep on how amazing American cuisine is and the crazy amount of variety there is. Even when just talking about things like Burgers, America will take it to the next level with so many different creative types of burgers and toppings that the other countries wouldn't be daring enough to try... and yet usually they turn out amazing. Even if you just look at the stereotypical fast food... our crazy variety in fast food is just the icing on the cake. There's a reason other more new American fast food places are finding success in other countries lately. Because we just have so many good ass options for fast/casual food compared to everywhere else.
I was curious so I googled it. Most people think about who is here now when deciding what type of food is American. But if you think about it...(took form google)Native American cuisine includes a variety of foods that are indigenous to the Americas, as well as cultivated plants and wild plants and animals. Some of the most important crops include: Corn: Also known as maize, this was a key crop for many Native cultures. Beans: Another important crop. Squash: A common crop. Other crops: These include pumpkins, sunflowers, wild rice, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, peanuts, avocados, papayas, potatoes, and chocolate. Native Americans also harvested nuts, wild fruits and herbs, and wild greens. They used grinding stones to grind seeds, nuts, and corn into flour, which they then used to make breads, mush, and more. They also fished using spears, nets, traps, and bone fish hooks. One unique method was to spread ground black walnut hulls in pools to temporarily stun fish, making them float to the surface where they could be caught. Some say that Native American cuisine was diverse, nutritious, and delicious before 1492. Today, about 60% of the world's diet is based on foods that originated in the Americas, including the "Magic Eight" plants that Native people gave to the world: corn, beans, squash, chiles, tomatoes, potatoes, vanilla, and cacao. These plants are now used in almost every cuisine
You don't need to travel to foreign countries and have their cuisine in order to express your opinion on what food you prefer in whatever the vote was. "Well, have you ever had those other foods in their countries of origin?" "No, that's why I'm picking American food. Because that's what I know. Why should I pick something I haven't had?" American food is what has become commonplace here. Doesn't matter where it originated. "American food beating Chinese food? I don't know if I can get down with that." So what? That's why it's a vote. You don't have to agree but it's what the majority prefers.
