      No, a majority of countries including US and Canada don't have exit check and if I look at my passport, they stamped it at entry only half of the time, if that. And you have Global Entry or Nexus, you don't even see a border agent at all.

    • @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller
      @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Same, the US for some ridiculous reasons doesn't allow people to transit without a US Visa. So, you have to completely clear customs in the US the same way for a transit or if you plan to stay there for 6 months.

    Hi Mario, it's a great video. My situation is similar to yours (I have Australian and Vietnamese Passports). I understand what you're saying. The only question I have is when leaving Vn (to come back to Au) with Australian passort (without VN entry stamp), VN immigration will ask questions and I only need to show them 2 passports (VN passport with entry stamp)? Have you ever in that situation and what Vn immigration responded to that? Your reply is greatly appreciated!

    • @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller

      Hello, I see why you were to ask that question. I guess I didn't explain correctly. You have two leaves here. The airline and the customs. You can tell that airline going to Vietnamese to go to Vietnam and that's good. When you get to airport in Vietnam, you tell the airline that you are flying out with your Australian passport. When you clean security, you will get to the customs officer, you can still show them your Vietnamese passport, because they don't care or know where you are going. They are only there to stamp you out. Then, you get to the gate and if you are checked again by the airline, you show your Australian passport. But, you can show both in Vietnam that's not illegal. I hope that helps

      Before departure, the airlines are doing entry validation checks. Just show them your Vietnamese passport inbound and y our US outbound. All they care is that you can enter the country, they don't care how or with what.

      @@CanTho2022 Why would Vietnamese immigration stamp a Visa into a Vietnamese passport? Surely a Vietnamese citizen has the right to live and work in Vietnam and doesn’t require a Visa. Also why would US immigration care about whether or not you had a Visa for Vietnam or any other country in your US passport? Again surely a US citizen has the right to live and work in the US. All that is important to them is to verify that you have a right to enter the US which you do if you have a valid US passport.
      When leaving Vietnam I would show the airline your US passport (because they are interested to know you have a right to enter the US - also they send this information ahead of time to US immigration so they have an idea who is coming) but show the Vietnamese immigration officials, if they do an exit check, your Vietnamese passport since this is how you entered and they will question why you don’t have a visa and suspect you were illegally in Vietnam if you show them your US passport without a visa. When you arrive in the US show immigration there your US passport.

    Hi! I really like the way you explaining things, its very simple and easy to understand. Plus, since this video is not that long, it is a bite-sized information hehhee. I have a question. I want to travel from A to B and transit in C, since I need a visa if I go straight from A to B. Country C only allows me to stay no more than 90 days. Since I got an entry stamp to that country (C) on my A passport, does that mean I need to return before 90 days? Otherwise the authority may accuse me of overstaying?
    What if I just want to go from A to B and stays there for indefinite time, is there any way?

    • @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller
      @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Without knowing where you are from, and what A,B and C are, it is not easy to answer in more details. But, I'll try. If you are accused of overstaying, you can show your stay your passport and that's it.
      For indefinite stay, that depends on the country, Canada or US have 183 days max a year. But, Vietnam or Mexico have 180 days at a time. So, you can do visa-runs. You get out, get a visa and enter again. Other countries just Jordan, so long as you pay your 1,50 JD a day or continuously renew the visa, they don't care.

      @@MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller It is good to have a strong passport. The problem is one of my passport is not as strong as the other and it only give 30 days. If you dont mind, please provide me more detail on this matter:
      Lets say im travelling from A to C (transit country to switch passports) and show my A passport to the border officer in A, so I can leave the country. When I arrived in C and just before leaving the passport check, can I show them my B passport so I got entrance stamp in my B passport? Later on, when I am leaving C, I show them again my B passport so I get leaving stamp on my B passport. Therefore I have an entrance and leaving stamps on B passport. And some time in the future, If I want to travel back from B to A, I will do the same but vice versa.
      The problem is, country A doesnt allow dual citizenship and it is not that easy to renounce it. I just dont want to use A pass anymore but I read that I cant make a visa to enter A country because my face and fingerprint are registered as citizen in A. Or, what do you think about that? Can I make a visa instead? Thank youu

      Hello, technically and for example if you are Chinese, you are not allowed to have dual citizenship and you should go to the Chinese embassy and give up your citizenship and return your passport because if they find out later, they could be serious consequences or they will just cancel your citizenship. I'm not a lawyer and they are likely 100 answers to that question depending on the country. So, personally, i think you have a choice, if you become a US citizen, you will lose your other citizenship. That's why a lot of my Chinese friends in Canada just remain permanent resident.
