Hi Nadia thanks for this video My question is how can I search for companies that can sponsor this visa. Most of the companies I tried applying for said they can’t sponsor my visa. Thanks
Hi, here is an official list of licensed Skilled Worker visa sponsors in the UK: www.gov.uk/government/publications/register-of-licensed-sponsors-workers. All of these companies have the license to sponsor visas for employees. Let me know if you have further questions or need more help.
I think a lot depends on your experience level and how well you do during the interviews. Judging by your LinkedIn profile, you have a few years of professional experience working as a software engineer, so you can focus on companies hiring mid-level software engineers (that are also licensed to sponsor visas). Focus on having a strong resume and a good portfolio to catch the attention of the employer, write a convincing cover letter tailored to each specific company and tell your potential employer about the value you bring to the table. If you do really well during the interviews, I don't see why a company wouldn't want to sponsor your visa! Companies are overall interested in bringing over talented software engineers with experience, so if moving to the UK is your goal, I think you should give this your best!
You are welcome. I actually made a longer video about job search in the UK, check it out: th-cam.com/video/Doi5Ilx1JuM/w-d-xo.html I think it can be useful for you as well!

Hi Nadia, Great Video. What is the english requirement if the employer is sponsoring my skilled worler visa?. I do not have IELTS. but my graduation and postgraduate was in English from India
Hi Imran, thanks! If you have a degree-level academic qualification that was taught in English you need to apply apply through Ecctis for confirmation that your qualification is equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD, you can find more information here: www.ecctis.com/visasandnationality
