This is so significant considering Anna is a foreigner in a foreign land. Ruth was not from Israel yet, she entrusts everything to faith that Naomi's God will take care of her. (Ruth 1:16-17), “16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
In the same way, Anna leaves her birth land and moves to a place which is strange to her, entrusting everything to faith that her husband (and his people/community) will take care of her.
A very powerful profession of love, faith, and trust if you ask me.
