To be fair the points he makes are valid. If it's being listed, sold, and advertised as a "hardcore" survival game then those mechanics need to be within its core gamplay period.
@@THEMOFFATTMAN Shi', my bad, I also got scammed by some friends, this game is boring as hell, and the updates are lazy and very slow. At this point the game will be dead before they release cars.
I started playing this game last week and after watching your video and reading the comments i I think deadside is a great game that needs further work as you implied. I personally am more interested in pve than pvp. I don't have gear fear nor am i a noob. If i want pvp i play pubg or warzone. In a survival game i want to pursue the games story and missions. Real players honestly ruin it for me, i just don't feel like being bothered by raids sociopaths who will befriend you for a month and then kill you and take all your stuff. I do believe the things you suggested would be great. I really would love more advanced AI. I'll continue playing and my next game to try will be mist survival
It has potential overall it just needs more time in the oven with the right things being worked on and added. We will see where Deadside ends up at though regardless.
@@ericmann8121 Fair enough, you are entitled to your opinion just as I am. Would love to hear what you think the game needs? Just remember this game is being sold and listed as a hardcore survival game that focuses on the realistic aspects of life and hardcoreness of it as well. It’s in the games own description and I have only spoken and can only speak about things that I have played in similar popular competing games in the gen that the game is up against such as DayZ, Escape From Tarkov, and Rust.
Any news on this game coming to consoles? I would play anything pvp survival related Been playing days for a long time & really want to try and get into another game.
deadside is not dayz idk why y'all want every game to the same thing it does not need all these tedious little things it does need work but u basically listed off stuff from other games that you wanna see in deadside some sickness from dirty water is not gonna make the game more fun nor is anything else you listed other then the hunting and other mechanics being made better

@@DeathDeclined I think it is fair to say that the hardcore survival tag on this game is no longer valid, it is more a quick jump in shooter that you can play for an hour an just have some fun running around doing missions. Personally it needs more to do and more depth in the map, not convinced that this should really go down the SCUM / DayZ route on the survival aspects more than it has to date.
@@DeathDeclinedI gotta agree with @sxlidsxlid1334 we do not need another dayZ clone, scum clone or rust clone. Deadside needs to continue being fun, non grindy and skillful it is something many of these survival haven't done successfully. DayZ is oftentimes a running simulator not encountering anything interesting for days just to die from the common cold it has its good moments but ultimately a boring game unless you mod the shit out of it. Also, look at superior graphics, art style and gunplay however, Deadside still has room for improvement and it will undoubtedly improve in the future and is telling by how the devs are clearly more talented than dayZ devs, dayZ been out for more than a decade and it's still a broken, laggy, clunky mess that feels dated in 2023. Deadside on the other hand feels fluid not clunky and not laggy and it feels new compared to other survival games it just needs more depth when it comes to the endgame to keep the game fun so people do not run out of things to do.
i often see players calling dayz clunky n i really don't see that in todays version anyway. maybe when it first appeared but it plays rather smooth and fluid enough on my system. yeah it has its bugs but what game doesn't. also it aint about this game being a "clone" but if your going to insist on sticking yourself within the survival catergory then of course comparisons are always going to be made against the titles that have been around in that genre for some time.
Nice video bud. The monthly updates are becoming a hastle considering the fact that we are heading into a PVE direction, dont get me wrong pve is cool BUT majority of players want cars and more things to do, not pve elements. Only new players who have gear fear enjoy pve elements. They are adding pve elements i fear because they are very much aware that this game is going to die and pretty soon the only thing youll be able to do is pve because there will be no players to hunt.
Appreciate everyone that takes the time to watch the video! Please hit the Like button as it helps with TH-cams Algorithm a lot these days!

Yo I played this game before DayZ. Happy to see it’s starting to get some attention.

I disagree about adding more survival aspects to the game I like how it's more of a pvp shooter than it is survival

dead game,
Been with deadside since it came out on steam and every update is the same old song and dance.... never growing player base
True bc most of the players who joined on the 0.5.0 aren’t even playing anymore
