I think my favourite dialogue interaction is in a book shop in act 3, when the shopkeeper tells you to keep your voice down because books are sensitive and you can respond with "IS THAT TRUE, BOOK? ARE YOU SENSITIVE?"
and then KABOOM

I've been there, usually in the classic 100 lvl rpg in the early levels.
Never had that happen in what's supposed to be mid-game, though, I'll admit!

It happens to me in the Pokemon games often ngl.
In the case of BG3 the difference in XP everyone has, even though they've gone through everything together is because of Inspiration events XP they get individually.

6:47 During character creation you get to choose a background and doing different things in-game gives inspiration points for specific backgrounds which means Ellis didn't roleplay hard enough and missed out on some CRUCIAL XP
I feel like there might be more to it than that; I STG in my first few playthroughs, Shadowheart, who was in my party from day 1, leveled up slower than party members who weren't in my party often enough to gain inspiration.
Not even a minute in and the broken cinematic at 0:47 absolutely destroyed me xD

Not only did Jonk string out conversation with an NPC whose way of talking grates on the ears, but he picked the spirit who was so vexing that the co-worker of the previous owner ripped it off their neck and hurled it into the lava so they didn't have to listen to their co-worker cackle like a loon while wearing it.
