This is my final TH-cam video which is basically 2 episodes in one
Feel free to skip ahead to where I talk about my final top 10 knives of my collection,
but if you want to hear how it all started for me
collecting with my Father (RIP Dad!)
to today’s Fathers Day gift for my step-Father (Love you David)
and finally how I am blessed by our Holy Father
to have these “final” knives in my collection to share with you now!
So grab a drink (cheers) and lets get this party started
In the beginning my Dad bought me a collection of @gerbergear and @buckknives pocket and fixed blade knives and taught me how to use a sharpening stone.
At 18yrs of age my Father passed on and I lost my passion for many things in life
including knife collecting
MANY Decades later I discovered @benchmadeknifecompany and @spyderco_inc knives and it brought me back to my old Hobby
and appreciation for quality engineered artistic functional tools.
My! how far EDC knives had come since I was a kid!
After a lot of learning from forums, blogs, buying, trading, and selling, I ended with a few, higher end EDC; mid-tech, small batch production, “Custom CNC”, etc, knives;

Thanks for the vids! Just found out about ya tonight and binged a bunch of your content. Some helpful tips for the sebenza, thanks for that!
Sick collection! Wish there was a typed out list of what each are, i couldn't find much info on the last one, but i think it's a Brown Knives FSD v2? (I have no idea what zerk means, and there's no mention of it in his archives) I'm relatively new to the modern knife collecting scene, but I followed a similar path starting with benchmade, spyderco, then in to crk sebenza, liong mah, a few newer custom ones like empedc nymph, etc etc. Just ordered a custom modded liong mah zulu with damasteel and blue ano, thing looks sick! But your breakdown of the thumb issue on sebenza helped a bunch, it came so tight from crk that it's painful to open..
Anyway, good luck with all your future endeavors. It's too bad TH-cam is so time consuming to create, I think you're channel is great, but I totally understand if it isn't worth it for you. (And I realize this is a year old.. )

That Cortex is amazing! I've got a Kizer Genie which is very similar in size and shape and it has incredible action, but I hope to one day be able have a Cortex of my own.
