This is a bit like the mystery box challenge from a while ago. I forgot who invented it but a person would place a big pile of objects and cover it with a sized up version of the present pile and then you had to make a build using those objects.
Could you do a video where you look at some of the builds that people do for this challenge? I think it would be fun to see your thoughts on how different they all turn out. :)
Dollhouse surgery challenge. Get a friend (or someone random on the gallery) and both of you build on the same exact lot in the same location in your own games BUT you build only half of it. You decide how much space you get, and how many tiles are left in between. Like ideally 3 or 4 tiles empty in between to make it centered and to stitch the two houses together at the end. You’re gonna have to use the save room option a lot since you can’t place 2 full lot builds on 1, so keep this in mind and don’t make too many rooms or too big of a yard. You decide who gets to do what rooms and how many stories it’ll be. You don’t have to discuss what you’re building or what color it is to add to the chaos. At the end, post both halves on the gallery for reference pictures, save all the rooms and post them as well separately, and puzzle piece together the other person’s build using the pictures to recreate it, and then WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING IN THEIR BUILD, try to connect your build with theirs using the small amount of space you both left in the middle. Easier if you already have the other person’s Discord for communication and reference pic sending.
Yess you could build your half and then upload it and have someone else build the other side! Sounds pretty fun and super chaotic like how would everything connect? Why are there literally 4 bathrooms in a 2 bedroom house AND 2 kitchens??? Sheesh Im gonna do this now!
I did something close to this, I built a large shell, numbered the rooms and assigned a couple of rooms to each of my friends. I forget the name of the build but it's under Freyjja on the Gallery. It came out amazingly and you can really see the different personalities
Finally, someone else understands the inconvenience of having boobs. They're the most irritating, uncomfortable part of the body and I do not want them

Love that you went off about the ableism inherent in the system (people judging hygiene). Brought me back to that one time on Twitter everyone was like "ew white people don't wash their legs/ew white people take their kids to the pool in summer as a wash" and I'M poc but I was like "you've made me turn my chair that is just re-packaged ableism/classism with the way you're talking about it"
This is a really cool concept. I also agree it's really rude to shame someone for their bathing habits. It reminds me of celebrities who say they don't bathe every day or a popular post about a mom who said she only showers 3 times a week. Not everyone feels dirty enough to do it everyday and it's not always good for your skin, let alone the fact that it's not hurting anyone for someone to have a different routine.
I just want to say that one of my good friends suddenly passed away two days ago at age 27, and I have been a complete mess ever since, and that your videos are so calming to me right now. I don't have to think, I can just vibe. And from the bottom of my heart, thank you for that.
Didn't expect to find a breast pain companion in these trying times of a week before my period while watching this video, but here we are. Jesse never disappoints, even when unexpected 💖
i feel like this was slightly harder for her to make than the challenge itself💀it looks super fun tho and id probably tear my hair out trying to figure out how to make it work. ppl with the attention span to build challenges hold secrets i dont have
Holy shit, thank you for talking about hygiene-shaming because, honestly, I find it so incredibly hard to find the energy to shower (I hide it with dry shampoo and stuff) and I always feel awful about myself when people put others down about their showering habits. (I'm working on it, but I'm tired all the time because of my eating disorder; I don't eat much and I have so little physical energy.) If they don't smell or whatever, what business is it of yours? Americans seem especially high-maintenance with this. It's not even healthy to shower every day, it's bad for your skin. Also the whole pressure of having to wear a different outfit every day? Kind of outrageous. Unless you live in a very hot country, or you move and sweat a lot, your clothes aren't going to need washing every 1 use. Those seem like some strange notions people have gotten from watching TV, that's the only place I can think of. I remember watching Friends growing up and they instantly new someone had gotten laid because they were wearing the same outfit as yesterday; that was very strange to me, because wearing the same clothes 1-3 days in a row was normal, I thought. (Apart from underwear and socks, ofc) If you have to wash each item that often, that is a LOT of detergent... which can't be good for your economy or the environment.
Yeah its not good to wash every single day (at least not all of our skin, can always do armpits if needed and stuff like that). Biggest thing which helped me was reducing how often I wash and changing up how I wash. A shower would always require so much time just trying to get product out of my hair and standing up for that long would cause me to faint (have POTS due to EDS). So I switched up to having a bath which I can spend as long sitting in as I need, its easier to rinse my scalp off and it ends up being much more relaxing. And with reducing how often I wash my hair it now gets greasier a whole lot slower. I actually only wash it once a month at the most now. I don't use dry shampoo as my body oils have figured out to stop overproducing now (used to feel like I had to wash my hair daily to keep up with the oil production). Another method which can be good is using a cotton or thin linen cloth and using that to absorb any excess oils after brushing (to help distribute the oils to the tips of the hair). Plus that's usually easy enough to do on those days where getting out of bed is hard. Can even just wrap your head in the fabric and let it do it all for you. The oil itself isn't actually dirty, brushing hair can remove dead skin cells from the scalp if you make sure to brush the scalp, and then its just a case of washing the scalp as and when needed. I don't actually use shampoo on my lengths any more, just my scalp. And I use olive oil with some lavender oil in when I need any extra conditioning as I now don't need conditioner either (which is good because I can't find any ones which are just olive oil based now, coconut oil and others like that just make my hair feel like straw, always have done). People really do go over the top a lot with bathing when our bodies aren't made to need it anywhere near as often as people have been led to believe by the cosmetics industry as a whole. It was all a way to make them more money.
This challenge reminds me of the ABC Challenge where you try and build a house in alphabetical order. The only reason that reminds me of it is because in that challenge, W is for Walls so they are some of the last things you build. The only difference here is the walls are left out completely.
Random thought but I would love a series kind of like the entire history of, but instead one episode of plumbella playing a random townie household and building off the ‘lore’ we have or creating a storyline maybe? I don’t know if this makes sense but I’d love it
Those couches without comfy arm rests on the sides are super popular in northern states/basically in the cabin or second hand stores as they are a bit "older", the "torie" couches are super popular in countries like nepal and india - I use them in a lot of my non-american builds. I rented an apartment in nepal and the couch looked exactly like the one you showed, and then in the kitchen the table and chairs were plastic I kid you not.
I was fully agreeing with her about the couches with wooden arm rests until I realized I have one 😂 and I’m in Canada which yeah is closer to the northern states. If I had a choice, I would have something much comfier but this was all I could afford.
I’m in the south US & I’ve had/seen a fair amount of the wooden arm sofas, they breathe on the sides which is good for hot & humid areas. Also good for cats cause they can’t scratch the arm upholstery if there’s no upholstery, lol.
That house is like the Brazilian children's (?) song called "The House". I'm actually part way through this because I saw it on the gallery the other day. Its ended up quite a large house. The upstairs living room is just for the parents. There's a second one downstairs too in my build. I won't be uploading it because I used a metric shit ton of custom content and I had to move the sink so it wasn't directly next to the hob because that hurt my brain way too much (though its where you had it before moving it next to the hob so...). But it was a fun challenge anyway. I'd love more of these.
I too, love baths-- after work and standing on my feet for ages a bath helps SOOO much, and I can watch some TH-cam while there so i don't accidentally stay up to 4am and die during my next shift
I feel like this would be even funner with less objects, so then you could be even more out there with what objects you put in and then it allows for more more creativity from the challenge do-er. Cos I feel like some of the walls only really have a few places they could go with this version of the challenge. Like imagine a random toilet and nothing else on a third floor. like you could make it an attic with a random toilet in it, or make it a whole bedroom wing. Or like a sink in ever corner of the build and then the challenge do-er can decide what that becomes. I feel like it can be so chaotic I love the idea.
Random and unrelated but I just thought that it would be cool to have an Air B&B pack for the game. Like the Sims can make income by renting a room, a mother in law suite or an entire property that they have to upkeep, requests to fulfill, cleaning to be done, restocking, reputation to be earned, replacing/repairing items for the bad guests who trash the place ect. Leaves a lot of room for hilarity and it’s an active career where you can have fun decorating something even if it’s not a home design you want to look at all the time.
I love this idea... its like taking a page from a colouring book and only being allowed to colour the background 😂 which also sounds like a good way to get out of an art slump 😂😂
this reminds me of the backwards build challenge where you have to start with furniture then build the house around it, only difference is normally you do the whole thing from start to finish.
I have a theory that the reason there’s 10 sofas that nobody would use in a normal build is because Princess Cordelia was the only lore that we had in the sims 4, so they spent too much time focusing on that (instead of giving us actual lore.) I genuinely can’t think of any other reason they’d give us a bunch of sofas that look like they belong in a museum to use.
I suggested something of the sort to a few Simmers but mine also included having the terrain done but the person needs to build the building around the terrain and could also include the furniture to be used
That painting should be called "castle or trees?" XD But holy crap, now THERE'S a unique idea for a build challenge. O.o I hope you do a follow-up with everyone's take on the actual BUILD part of the challenge! XD
in NZ most houses, least where I grew up, are "upside down" with the living area upstairs. This is because most houses are built into hills or slopes and you kinda ignore the downstairs for the most part lol. A lot of the houses of family etc had a whole downstairs nobody even went to, it was dead space.
I swear I commented this challenge on one of your last videos but I can’t remember if I just thought about it or physically wrote it. Throughly enjoyed watching either way

"bath bitch" lunar isle drop?
I'm definitely a bath bitch too. Except the condo I have now has only a shower. It's tragic.
Love it! And now the challenge with debug!
I absolutely loved your audio here. Good honest talk.
me literally thinking that picture was a castle the entire 5 years i’ve played this game… 🤦🏻♀️
As an ND I appreciate yiur chaos
english isn't my first language and when she said "i need to bitch" i understood i need a bitch and i just sat here like 👁️👄👁️ damn alright then
this reminds me of the backwards build challenge where you have to start with furniture then build the house around it, only difference is normally you do the whole thing from start to finish.
The minute she said inverse I said oh NOOOO
This looks like it could be cool for one of those container houses maybe I will do it when uni stops kicking my ass
This challenge is making me sweat nervously and I’m only a minute in 😂😂😰
I totally understand hon with the pain, it helps you to know your period is on the way hon
XD
She could've saved herself from the torture and actually build a house with furniture, then delete the walls 🤡
LMFAO VALID VALID VALID
@@Plumbella OMG U REPLIED I LUV U SMMMMM 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖😭😭😭😭😭
6:40 Trotters instead of feet seriously made me wheeze just now
Plumbella's obsession with Bucky Barnes is something I wholeheartedly relate to
This challenge looks 🎉 maddening 🎉
UGH yes I am admiring your background plumbella o-0
I am so excited to try this. Absolutely evil and I love it.
in NZ most houses, least where I grew up, are "upside down" with the living area upstairs. This is because most houses are built into hills or slopes and you kinda ignore the downstairs for the most part lol. A lot of the houses of family etc had a whole downstairs nobody even went to, it was dead space.
“I don’t want any of this avocado shit” LMFAO. 😭😭😭
I swear I commented this challenge on one of your last videos but I can’t remember if I just thought about it or physically wrote it. Throughly enjoyed watching either way
Alternate title: Plumbellas self destructive shell challenge.
Love this, also finally got my first sim taken away from me,have had 6 kids actually taken care of them all somehow in sims and oml no one would feed this kid so he got taken away
Build challenge idea: make a bunch of premade rooms and someone has to make a house out of the rooms
Can we add objects (like clutter or furnishing additional rooms)?
^ this
I also want to know this 👀
The base game counters are the true bane of my Sims 4 gameplay. I wish the bulk of the BG items would be updated/reskinned.
this has blown my mind i always thought that picture was a castle
'nine setees for normal people and ten for tories' thanks, I spat out my drink
When I'm stressed, I live in the bathtub. Bath bitches gotta stick together
Talanted, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopper, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it-
Plumbella should do a build challenge where she picks all the items that can be used and only those are allowed in the build, make it chaotic by having 2 counters but 4 grand pianos lol
Most of my breast tissue is destroyed after post partum weight loss so I can no longer feel that pain but I used to be very unfortunately busty from ages 12-19. And that pain every cycle was awful. See also: my hunchback from carrying them around.
Plumbella, so glad we have similar obsessions. You make my day every time you upload!
I was waiting for this video ever since I saw it go up on the gallery!!
Omg same with the bath thing. I’m watching this in the bath rn
Yo, this is crazy, I've been doing this in my game for a while! It's so cool to see someone else do it! 💕
incredible desktop background bestie, i am admiring
You getting onto your Bucky Barnes bullshit has gotten me back onto my Bucky Barnes bullshit and Plumbella, I just want you to know that I am now reading a 700,000+ word Bucky fanfic with zero regrets. Thank you for enabling me and my hobbies
.... i didn't realize until now that the painting was not of a castle. This entire time I thought it was just an ominous castle and you're telling me its TREES?!
What you said about you and your sister is really funny bc me and my sis always jokingly called our feet our hooves, hands our prones, and mouth beak. Ex: if I had my feet up on the couch and she wanted to sit down “move your hooves”. We definitely have a lot of made up words we use too.
People can always replace the base game items with other pack items and keep them in the same place and it would keep the spirit of the challenge!
I use the quilted velvet couch often cause it reminds me of the couch my grandparents bought that’s older than I am. 😂
Ahahaha I literally used this method to build a bedroom in that Sims 1 Extreme Challenge of yours
I had envisioned a bedroom and had to put down the beds in the way i had it in my brain before i could put down walls 😂
I feel like baths are only weird and kinda gross to me because I'm not used to them. It's very rare for anyone to have a bathtub in Finland
Watch video ✔️
Open sims 4 ✔️
Do challenge and upload ✔️
Loved this challenge!
I DID NOT KNOW THAT PICTURE WASNT A CASTLE TILL RIGHT NOW
You could make it a challenge to build a house from zoomed in or rebuilding houses from the sims 1, 2 and 3 in sims 4
... i legitimately thought that was a castle picture, and not some trees. i've played this game since it came out.
This video literally killed me, nothing makes me laugh as much as PB
I think Deligracy also did this and it was so fun watching her struggle, we love to see our fave creators die inside 😂
Jess I am STRESSED just watching this
Omg this whole time I thought that picture was a castle! It’s TREES! 🤯
10:00 iVE ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS A CASTLE???? My life a lie....
