I set up my K989 just the way you did it. Since my front upper arms are shorter now the wheels barely touch the ground... Did you cur the chassis underneath the lower front arms so the suspension got room to travel?

Hi no I didn’t cut the chassis underneath the front arm. Have you check upper/lower swing arms all move freely without any interference?

Hi the wheels come with Mini z body, I’m not sure if the wheels sold alone. Tires with round surface provide minimum friction you can find them on online RC shop :)

沒事，其實我也想嘗試其他後驅車架如Drift art, mk3, 井之類的，精度跟可調性都比土炮改k969來的好多了。最終沒買還是考量花費，因我是同時好幾台車架配不同車殼，不是一個車架換不同車殼玩，要是買好幾個後驅車架花費就太大了，再者台灣用淘寶買後驅車架的零件也沒這麼方便，就繼續用K969湊合著玩啦😅。

Good Job! I am new and i want to build my Own K989 like this. DO i really need a Radio for slowing it down because mine is too fast? or is it enough to Print a Gear und Put a Resistor in?

Yes you can slow down speed by change gear and put a resistor. But I still highly recommend to change a radio that can set EPA. Not only for slow down speed but also for set up steering angles. Because for RWD, you might have to set left and right turn EPA independently in order to have equal steering angles. 🙂

Hi did you have gyro installed? Is the gyro set reversed? Have you tried to increase gyro gain? Also check 4 wheels are all contact ground without lifting.
