I’m not going to lie I was about to skip it because this video didn’t do as well. Within the first hour of being out it got a dislike (just one) and totally stopped TH-cam from showing it to people.
      I’m on the fence

@Stryke Team Official be patient, and this video will do fine. It'll take a little while, but it's a good video :)

We have always said "It's not the style. It's the person ability to apply what they're learning effectively". I know people that have studied "Krav" but got their ass handed to them in real fights...I will also say it depends on the method of training too. Focus on sport, works great in the ring. Focus on Self Defense, better work if attacked for real. No pressure testing, it will fail.

Can't argue with any of this. Many systems would be difficult to place, mainly because of different training styles that could be found within the same system. Uechi-ryu, as an example, can be extremely effective if you train it to be and spar regularly. But it can also be completely ineffective if your school never spars or trains hard.

100% agree. To be fair I will probably put any system where the training methods aren't universally effective on the auxiliary tear. Many systems on the auxiliary tear have the potential to be base systems if trained correctly, but as you said, there are a lot of schools that don't train it effectively and it brings the average down. I do think I will end up doing a follow-up video.
